Well, you certainly have good recording quality. I hated the song though. The singing wasn't that great, IMO. The whole thing just sounded very cheesy, especially the solo.

That was great man. But 7 minutes? I saw the length. Suprisingly I actually listened the whole way through. Great song. Good vocals and the intrumentals were clean, tight, and played well. Good sound quality too, sounds near if not professional.

Thanx, deadendsociety66!
I know, 7 minutes is too much.
Thanx for giving it a listen, both of ya! :thumb:

is shorter, if you'd like to have a listen!
And G&L RF, maybe you'll find this one slightly less cheesy....? ;)

You show like 80's Metal through your music. Some alternative but mainly that 80's hair metal type of music. Maybe that's why it may be called "Cheesy" because that music has commonly died in alot of people's eyes.

Could be.... I dunno!
This is the first time anyone's called it 'cheesy' as far as I've read, though!
But hey, it's a matter of taste! :)
I've gotten a lot of surprisingly great reviews at Mixposure, ic-musicmedia and music.download. I'm very happy 'bout that! :D
ROCK'N'ROOOOOOOOOOOLL ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I really liked the songs! Someday was too long and the lead guitar part was over done, too!
Don't get me wrong, I love extra long lead breaks, but that was way too long! :amaze:
The vocals were KILLER! Reminded me of David Coverdale of Whitesnake! Great job! I love 80s music...can't get enough of it. :)
The recording quality was good, too.
Mixing & Production were great!
Really, Great job overall.
Good luck! :thumb:
Man this is some good stuff. I really liked the vocals and guitar, it reminded me of 80s metal.
I love your songs man.

Thank U, GuitarComet!
I realize that SOMEDAY is too long. Usually I don't do solo's that are that long either, but I kinda got carried away with that one, 'cause I improvised, and I kinda winged the arrangement a bit too, so I was free to go insane, which I did! :D
Coverdale is definetly an influence!
I'm also a huge fan of the vocals of Chris Cornell, Sammy Hagar, Steven Tyler, Joe Lynn Turner, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ann Wilson, Steve Lukather and Bobby Kimball!
Thanx for checking out the music!

Here's a tune I did with Derek Springer from Michigan:
http://www.soundclick.com/util/DownloadSong.cfm?ID=2380320
The tune is called THE SIGN. Derek did the drums and bass, we both play rhythm- and leadguitars, and I handle the vocals.
Hope somebody in here gets a kick out of it.
ROCK'n'ROLL!!!!

You kick the *** of pop culture Roy, until it bleeds through the pants.
Ps.
I'll make an attempt to finish our collab this weekend. Don't go cheatin on me with the unfinished track just because I'm not puttin' out. ;)

kudos for not sucking.
no, seriously, there's too much sucking in the atmosphere right now, thank you for not sucking.
Way to bring back to eighties. Maybe it'll work this time. Keep it up.
Oh, and by the way, that solo was pretty face-melting.
Like some others have said, the seven minutes is a little lengthy and some of it is filler. It seems stretched out. Short isn't always a bad thing, if it's good.

Hey, TwentyTwo!
Thanx for listening! :thumb:
Well, I'm doing my best to not suck! :D
I realize that 'Someday' is WAY too long! None of my other tunes are that long.
Well, Shameless (http://dw.com.com/redir?&destUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fmusic-files.download.com%2Fmp3%2F100575172%2F100589888%2 FRoy_Bratbakken-Shameless.mp3&edId=3&siteId=32&oId=3600-8666_32-100552866&ontId=8666&lop=link&tag=link<ype=dl_192k&astId=2&pid=100575172&mfgId=100552866&merId=100552866) is 6 minutes long, but the other ones are shorter.
Drift Away (http://dw.com.com/redir?&destUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fmusic-files.download.com%2Fmp3%2F100552978%2F100554080%2 FRoy_Bratbakken-Drift_Away.mp3&edId=3&siteId=32&oId=3600-8666_32-100552866&ontId=8666&lop=link&tag=link<ype=dl_192k&astId=2&pid=100552978&mfgId=100552866&merId=100552866) for example, is 4:47!
