this game deserves a topic...

brief description: a music game where you play the instruments to make the song complete. there are different instruments you can play called "tracks", and on these tracks are little gems, set on the track on the left middle and right sides. you have a little beatblaster or spaceship thing to ride over the track and you have 3 little holes. you must time it so when the gem passes under the tracker, you press the respective button. if you do it correctly, a musical sound comes out. it depends what instrument you're on. you can play a bassline very easily or follow a drum pattern like you were actually playing those instruments. there is also a remix mode where you can make your own song.

who knows this game, what are your experiences, are you a fan bla bla blah.... i'm a huge huge fan of these games (amplitude) and i go online with them regularly. post back if you like this game or just want to say something about it.

Tough 'games'. Though fun against friends.

The music they used for it wasnt great. And the fact you had to play through some god awful tracks to unlock things like the David Bowie and Run DMC tracks was annoying.

Frequency was enjoybale, and Amplitude improved upon it in every way possible. It's really a shame it never took off so well. I was so excited when Amplitude it came out since I assumed I'd be playing it online all the time, but I soon realized there was nobody to play against.

David Bowie and Run-DMC are in Amplitude. i find the amp. soundtrack to be very rock oriented. unfortunately it's bad rock (pink is in it also) which is why i prefer frequency. it is a huge shame that the series never took off... very sad. probably would have been called wavelenth, but it could still happen (maybe for the ps3.....)

I recently just bought amplitude for just 10 bucks, and I can't get enough of it now...
