ITT, we'll discuss the awesomeness and crappiness of the Alien series. This includes, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Ressurection, and Alien vs. Predator, if you're so inclined.

My favorite Alien movie is a toss-up between Aliens and Alien 3. They're both great. I don't like Alien as much because nothing really happens in the first half-hour of the movie.

Good idea. Alien is ****ing wicked, saw it in the cinema after wanting to for ages and it was a great experience. My favourite would have to be Aliens, and Alien 3 I'd have equal with Alien. I wasn't the biggest Alien 3 fan at first, but it's grown on me, and has a great cult feel. I only saw Resserection the once, not that it was a terrible film, just not good compared to the orignal triology. I haven't seen AVP, but I don't want to. As soon as I heard about it, I was skeptical, and have heard nothing but bad reviews of it. An Alien film without Ripley isn't an Alien film IMHO.

Aliens is the best.

Originally A3 was suppposed to have the Marine from Aliens as the main character and a different plot, but they changed the story because Signory Weaver is a bitch.

AvP is on par with Hellboy. That = bad.

I need to see Vampires vs Zombies so I can know of a worse movie that isn't a bastardization of two of my favorite movie franchises.
