I've been thinking about this, and read something a while ago, but do you think there'll ever be 3d games? I'm talking head-set type stuff where you move, and I'm talking about for home use, not arcades. And did anyone ever see the movie eXistenZ? It was a hella awxome movie bout a vidjo game thing. Yeh.

Yes 3d games at home would be awsome and could very well come out one day ,but think of the cost it wouldn't be like a $200 PS2. I think I saw one on the show arena on G4 for Americas Army.

eXistenZ is without doubt, the worst movie I have ever seen.

What was so bad about it? David Cronnenburg (sp?) was an awesome director...of creepy stuff. Watch VideoDrome too....awesome....

You may remember the early VR headsets. They worked quite well, as regards tracking etc. The problem was the user. Your eyes say you are moving, your ears disagree, and you feel sick as a dog. Plus you looked like an idiot to the people watching.

Ehh...After having some free time to finally search, I saw on www.howstuffworks.com a new VR headset to be released in 2005. It's gonna cost like $900, so I'm not gonna get it, cause im poor. :upset: But It'd sure be fun to play half-life or gta (with first person mode mod) with that.

It would also be awsome to play Halo 2 in complete 3d. Maybe in a couple of years it will get cheaper as the technology advances like plasma tv's. :thumb:
