Shrek Sequels

So apparently not only are they making a Shrek 3, but they've already gotten a writer for Shrek 4, and a Puss In Boots spin-off movie is in the works.

:-/ I liked both movies, but this really reeks of "Let's get as much money as we can" to me. Meh.

In better animated news, the Incredibles comes out on DVD next Tuesday :D

What'd you expect? Anything that does moderately well is in consideration for a sequel; even Seriously Dude, Where's My Car? is in the works.

And, to be fair: tell me when you saw Puss in Boots looking up with those eyes, you didn't say "Awwwwwww..."

I have Shrek 2 downstairs, is it worth watching if I enjoyed the first one?

I enjoyed the second one better than the first.

everyone says the second one was better than the first. the first one was better, because it had a plot and, while humourous, didn't focus around making people laugh.
The second one, on the other hand, was meant for people looking for a laugh, and they made everything as funny as possible. This is good, but also a bit tedious. The plot kept on getting interupted by random 'funny' scenes such as the announcer at the party and whatnot.

I wrote way, way too much about this.

as long as the sequels are funny I hope they make as many as they can. I love Shrek.

The Incredibles was really good, but it wasn't as quote "incredible" as everyone was telling me it was. I did like it alot. The baby was amazing.

Shrek 2 sucked.
