Anyone seen this piece of art? A proficient Muay Thai-ist has got to be one of the most powerful martial artists in the world. The effective use of elbows and knees is just... painful. The opening kneel was mind-blowing in itself.

I saw it on DVD last Summer. It's pretty awesome and has some great unintentionally funny parts. The fight sequences are very well done. The best straight kung-fu film I've seen in years.

Too bad it isn't a kung-fu movie. It's a muay thai movie!
I thought it was an excellent movie. One of the best martial arts films I've ever seen (#2 right after Drunken Master 2). I saw the Thai version on DVD that my friend bought at the Pacific Mall in Toronto.

I was amazed at what the main character was able to do considering that there are supposedly no stunt doubles or ropes. Seeing him fight was insane, he owns everyone in that movie.

Yeah I know it isn't a kung-fu movie, but most people just put all martial arts films in the "Kung-fu" genre.
I would say Enter the Dragon is my favorite Kung-fu film because the story was actually cool and Bruce Lee has an unmatched charisma. In contrast, Ong Bak has a poor story and Tony Jaa doesn't have any charisma.
Jackie Chan is also great because he has a lot of charisma and puts some comedy into his fight sequences.
