This game looks awesome.

Especially how they recreated Normandy to the yard and everything. I love how you can control the firing and assault squads to supress enemies and etc...

Opinions on game?

The video of it is amazing. However, it seems as the more you can do with games, the more I figure how to suck at them; it's a double-edged sword.

He said that limbs and heads can fall off and it is gory ++

There is alot of recoil on firing though. You can shoot about 8 times with the aim right on your enemy and miss everyone. There are no crosshairs either.

crosshairs are an option, you can turn them on or off.

Are there online capablities and if so, is it good. Is the game better then call of duty?

Read a preview for it, looks awesome. It's a on-the-fly tactical shooter, meaning you issue commands on the spot, without any down time, like SWAT 3. In single-player you control two distinct teams, and in multi-player with 4 people I think its 2 v. 2 and each player controls a team. The controls are almost exactly like Halo except Left-trigger pulls up the command menu, and Black button throws 'sploders. In the preview it said there was no HUD, but that doesnt necessarily mean no crosshairs. And anyway, crossairs aret THAT important once you get used to the game, 'cuz it shoots to the center of the screen, so... it looks awesome :)

I palyed maybe 10 mintures of it when i dropped by my friends house. So easy to get right into and it actually takes skill. Granted this was single player, but it was fun i lvoe the no croshairs, alot funner. Ad i love sending my guys in one by one for suciide its funny. :thumb:

It looks like an awesome game, the preview graphics look stunning.
I've not read too much about it though but I'm definitely gonna get it. It might give me an alternative from Call of Duty:UO and CS:Source :p

If so, how much violence is in it? Any info about violence related realism is appreciated.

I do own and the violence is pretty real. Once i lobbed a grenade at a german MG-42 nest and the grenade blew off some legs and arms. Also at the begining of one mission, you see a corpse of one of your fellow paratroopers...his whole abdomen and torso have been blown open. Finally, To accompany the violence is plently of course language.

Oh it is. The Gearbox Team actually went to Normandy to do some research. They literally recreated terran, houses,roads and towns.

Non Linear is like a game where you are free and can do basically whatever you want.

If you didn't notice Brothers in Arms doesn't force you down any corridors or hallways. It's open and big for you to play with strategy.

Playing the game on the Authentic difficulty is quite challenging
