Bench Brawl

I just got back from a ****in' bench brawl at a minor hockey game.

With 2 seconds left in the game, we were up 2-0 and the referee decided to drop the puck. Now, this was horrible: their coaches opened the doors on the bench and let their whole bench come on to the ice. I was one of the five already on the ice and it was ****in' brutal. Almost no one from our bench came on because we'd face suspensions.

So, we get into the dressing room finally and we have to wait for all their players and coaches to leave the arena.

Overall, we only got 1 player suspended and they got more than half of their team suspended.


Now, to make a point to this thread, have any of you got in any bench brawls or even fights at any sport?

Playing school hockey one time after we went up by 3 late in the game 5 seconds after a goal was scored (play not going) a kid cross checked me in the head. I had a badddd concussion.

We were playing hockey in gym the other day and I threw a kid on the floor. Good time. They put me in the so called "Box" for 2 minutes.

While we were in the dressing room, one of the parents came in and apologized and said that his son was never going to play hockey again. He also said that the coaches would never coach a minor hockey team again either.

of course if you've been playing sports all your life, like i'm sure some of us have, you will always run into bench brawls

as of recently my soccer team got into one, it was kinda stupid really

it was this guys fault on my team, we all got pissed at him after but of course on the field you have to defend your teammate

this guy, our star player, was getting frustrated because he couldn't score and missed a couple good chances, so when the other team got a corner kick he deliberatley kicked the ball into the stands instead of giving it to them

so the ref gave him a yellow card, he got pissed and started yelling at the ref, some guy on the other team minding his own business and the guy on our team starts yelling at him and ends up getting a red card so as he's walking off he cracks that guy in the face and all hell breaks loose

benches cleared, stands cleared, everyone got hurt, good times

it was stupid of him though because we weren't that kind of team, we were the first place team at that point, we should have no reason to be getting pissed and starting fights, if you're the last place team you do that kind of stuff, we ended up having to forfeit and losing the game which cost us first place in the standings

was a good brawl though

in socce, i have been in about three all in brawls, one needed the riot police to stop because of crowd troubles aswell. By the way im from australia, and people actually live here cambodia. Isnt everybody in cambodia dead from aids and starvation.

man yall are so lucky to have hockey in yalls school in my town there isnt even a little league hockey thing, god **** texas..well i havent ever been into a fight at sport thing but one time at a middle school football game.this guy kept pushing me so i through him down by his face mask...i got flagged though :(

The hockey I was in wasn't high school hockey. We don't get that either, however, the girls do. I hate it.

ah, my hockey team gets into a fight in every game, one big, and a bunch of little ones in front of the net, this happened last week, the refs sucked but anyway, the whole game was dirty the whole game there was someone in the box, and the big fight that we had, our goalie punched a guy who was in front of the net and then everyone was tied up with someone, the ref pulls one of their players out of the net, and one of our players swings his stick at his head, the whole bench lost it, he got tossed

what kind of hockey team are you on? school, city...

im so mad there no hockey league here in south texas!! not even street hockey..but my and my friends are playign street hockeys saturday so its all good

It's minor hockey. Tyke, Novice, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget are the groupings. I'm on the Midget Additional Entry team which means the second best team in midget (should be).
