I'm just wondering what you all think is the most Bloody/Goriest/Gruesome/Violent game ever made. I would have to say possibly Manhunt.

Severance: Blade of Darkness. You could cut off peoples arms and beat them to death with them, It allowed gamers to sever heads and use them as a distraction way before Manhunt was around.

Manhunt. One of the things that makes this game so graphic, its not just the blinding violence, but also the scarily realistic sound. Its almost like they really killed people to get those effects!

Soldier of Fortune was pretty bad.
It had some feature called a "24 point gore zone" or something, where all of the enemies bodies would respond overly realistcly to any form of damage. So basicaly, when you shot somebody in the head, only half of it would explode. Or in the stomach, their guts would be blown out the back. and if you hacked them with the knife too many times they would turn into a puddle of gore.
pretty messed up.

the punisher is pretty violent, you get to cut a guy up into about 100 pieces with a couple of circular saws

Anyone remember the old Friday The 13th game for NES? Remember if you didn't make it to the kids in time there would be a pile of dead kid bodies?
That was pretty hardcore for way back then.

"anyone remember"... carmaggedon? a simple racing game, but you had to kill a specific amount of people with your car to be the first. especially funny when you drive onto the football yard.
