Threadstarter, Ohio State can't even get into the NCAA tournament. This game does not change anything. Illinois will still be the top seed in the tournament, will still be the number one team in the nation, and will still have only lost one game. One loss is still better than any other team going into the NCAA tournament.

If North Carolina does move in front of them, alright, but I really don't think they are better than Illinois.

NC lost to Duke, Wake Forest, and Santa Clara. Illinois lost to Ohio State. Illinois crushed Wake Forest, who crushed North Carolina. Illinois lost a very close game to Ohio State (and OSU is not a bad team at all). Logic leads me to believe that Illinois should be number one.
