any Mar De Grises fans? i just listened to their album Draining the Waterheart and it was pretty good.

Yes, I'm a fan.
The Tattermedailion Express is such a great album.
I have the new album on my PC, but haven't found a good, relaxing time to listen to it.
WIll d so soon though.

The release also features a limited edition pack, I might buy this.

Esoteric - Subconciouss Dissolution Into The Continuum and Metamorphogenesis

Skepticism - All 3 their full lengths.
Longing for Dawn - A Treacherous Ascension
Shape Of Despair - Angels Of Distress
Evoken - A Caress Of The Void

This should get you started.

Lee:
They're quite cool.
Dirty sounding with even some post-rockish sounds going on from time to time.
The vocals aren't that special.
But good (extreme) doom/sludge.

EDIT:
Damn, I can't go to the Esoteric show on thursday. :(
Which means I'll HAVE to go to this instead:

Forsaken
Pagan Altar
Officium Triste
Esoteric
Mirror Of Deception
Serpentcult
Mael Mórdha
Indesinence
Imindain
Malasangre
The River
Helevorn
Autumnal
Akelei

I hope those drums aren't all gay and clicky like on Transfiguration.

eh? I think that's a pretty decent drum sound. The kicks have some body to them - it's not all click. On A Walk Through Oceans they're triggered! YOU NEEDZ TRIGGERZ 2 HEAR DA PHAT BEATZ!!!11eleventyone!

Glad some of you are liking Unsilence - did anyone hear their new stuff? Bit of a departure - quite a lot of folkyness to their sound these days. Check it on Gayspace.

You're welcome!
Great Australian funeral doom it is.

If you can find the demo called Tears From A Greaving Heart, be sure to get it too.
It's a demo, but it's like an hour worth of high quality funeral doom.
Great production, great songwriting, very solid release.
