Warning is excellent, although I've been cutting my plays down for them. Been more interested in While Heaven Wept, rediscovering my love for Candlemass, and a few other epic doom bands. Glad you liked the Doomshine, too, by the way.

Anyone read the lyrics to "Where Nothing Hurts but Solitude?" I did the other day and the song is totally about flying. Like actual bird flight. Judging by the song title at first, I thought it was just about depression amongst other things.

Haha. Nah dude, it was pretty good. Great vocals.

I prefer A Walk Through Oceans. Have you heard that one? Having said that "The Gallery" was probably the best song we did together. Can't believe we recorded it nine years ago. It was also the last song I played with them (it was always the set closer) in Bradford 23rd March 2003 - I was so gutted to leave the band (they'd been a major part of my life for 8 years) that I was fighting back the tears by the end of it.

Sorry about that - bit of nostalgia for you nostalgia.

I'm glad. No doubt they're due the traditional MX backlash by now but f*** it they're a great band and have been for 10 odd years. I guess it's good that so many people are getting into the band, it's just a shame that very few of you are buying it. After all if you bought it then you'd get records from bands like Argus, The River, The Lamp of Thoth a lot quicker because the label would have more money to cover studio fees etc.

Yeah I know it's the typical Jondur rant about downloading, but the band and the label boss are friends of mine. And also I think that record is an all time classic and I don't understand why you wouldn't want to own it.

I own Watching from a Distance, but your absolutly right that I download more than I buy. The problem with the more underground bands is that it's harder to get the albums than with more known bands like Candlemass (even those I have to order though) and if I haven't heard it before it's a bigger risk of spending money on an album I'll never listen to.

It will be reissued by CYCLONE EMPIRE very soon. As will The Strength To Dream. CE have good distribution ( I bought my copies of the Solstice reissues from HMV) so you shouldn't have any problems. Watching From A Distance will also be released on vinyl by METAL SUPREMACY.

All these labels are 100% legit, if you get ripped off I will send you my Die-hard copy.

I wish I had the kind of connections you seem to have. I was actually thinking about buying the album soon but i almost never order from smaller labels.

It's easy these days - everyone's got emails, websites and paypal. And you can check stuff out on Myspace so you don't have to spend money on an album you've never heard.

Anyway - I don;t mean to be so down - it's good that you're all appreciating a great band.

Show on Friday was awesome, although I may have gotten a bit too drunk.

The only thing that sucked is that the sound guy quit a day or two prior and took all of his ****, so they weren't able to get the sound right.

Ol' Scratch debuted a new vocalist, yet you couldn't even hear him really. Band still rules, they covered some Spirit Caravan which was cool. Sherman from Earthride, Wretched, and Spirit Caravan was in the front row smoking bowls. He got on stage to sing for like 2 songs.

Revelation came on next, and they look so funny. I never imagined them to look how they do hahah They were good, though.

Then came Hounds of Hasselvander which were ****ing awesome. They played some songs and then had Bobby Liebling from Pentagram get up there and sing some songs.
