So I just got an Audiophile 2496, and nothing fits into the plugs. It says in the manual that standard RCP things fit into it (I don't know if my stuff is RCA), but I have plugs that fit itno my old sound card, and fit into a diskman... the standard connection, I think.

Anyway, I took my Gamecube cables (you know the red, white and yellow) that fit into the TV, and those fit into the soundcard. They're much shorter and stubbier than the plugins i have now. So, it looks like I will need to find and buy an adaptor?

you need a minijack to RCA adapter, from the sound of it. they're not expensive.
