For some reason, i dont see the search on here anymore.

So me and another person are looking into starting a band. Im a guitarist and she sings. We have some covers down and are working on our own songs, but its getting hard to practice since we dont have a pa system...or the rest of the band. I have a little 2 mic input behringer mixer, and an sm58 mic. We've been trying to run the mic through the mixer, then out speakers, but we are getting mass feedback at semi higher volumes. We are looking into getting a PA system. Will this solve the feedback problem? What exactly to we need. I only feel like spending 200-250$ since we dont even have a band yet. It would be nice to get soemthing off of ebay...but i really dont know whats good or not. I went to guitar center and they said the kustoms are crap and not to buy one... I dont know if we will ever get to playing a small gig or not, so im not sure if we need a pa system big enough for that just yet.

I just found the PA thread so sorry bout not posting this in there. After reading in there, i think for our budget, we should just egt the 80 watt kustom. we would upgrade if it ever got that far. How should our setup be in the room for not getting feedback? right now we only have a guitar amp and then the two pa speakers once we get them?
