My band and i are getting some wireless equipment and I have a few questions:
1.If I don't have an effects loop on my amp, does that affect my ability to use effect pedals and the wireless system together?
2.What are the differences betwween channels, and do we all have to get different channels?
3.I heard wireless systems can sumtimes get interupted by radio signals, what is the likleyhood of that happening
also post some good wireless systems to get thanx in advance

1. You can use effects pedals w/ a wireless...just hook up your reciever to the pedals and then the pedals to the amp. This setup has always kind of annoyed me though, for no real reason.
2. The channels are different frequencies. You should all use different channels so that your signals remain separate. However, there are a lot of wireless systems on which you can choose the channel yourself, which is good.
3. This doesn't usually happen, I've never encountered it. I suppose it is possible. Just get a wireless system that you can change channels with and if you're having trouble, switch channels.

to use FX pedals with a wireless system, you just need a lot of cables.
This isbecause you need somehwere fafe to put the receiver, like on top of your amp. utting the receiver where you could stamp on it and where the audience could reach it is a bad idea.
better systems --> less interference

3. Some systems can pick up on taxi radio transmissions if in close proximity, which isn't a problem for an on and off kareoke performer, but in your killer bridge, you don't want a backing chorus of taxi communications.
