His post wasn't stupid or childish. He was making fun of a band, in a witty and rep-worthy way. Now most people can put up with someone making fun of a band they like, because they realize that not everyone has the same opinions, and that there's no point in getting your panties in a wad just because someone says something that offends you. There was nothing childish about his post, or mine, but yours was. Listen. I love Zeppelin, but if someone makes a post about them being dirty hippies whose singer is a woman having a constant orgasm, I'm not going to get all angry about it and curse them out. If you can't handle the bands you like being made fun of, what are you doing on MX?

ATTN THREADSTARTER: Nobody with any amount of self-respect here is going to write a song for you. I think you've two main options -

A) Attempt writing some yourself/ves
B) Find another person who can and will write the lyrics for you. But not over the internet. Incorporate them as a member of your band.


I wish people would stop asking others here to write songs for them. It rarely works and when it does they're usually ****.

- You know nothing of my taste in music. I love Zeppelin. They are great in their own way, that doesn't mean Slipknot isn't great in their own way. They are far different styles. I'm sure I have a much wider array of musical taste than you do, but then again all I know that you listen to is Zeppelin so I can't say anything about your taste in music. But then again I don't go talking sh.it about bands that other people respect.


Anyways, I have to agree with everyone, Mr Threadstarter about writing your own stuff. Even if it sucks, at least it's yours.
