Cakewalk

Recently i "purchased" the program cakewalk and so far it seems alright but a friend of mine told me that it isn't suited for recording rock stuff is this true? and if u could hav the choice of using Audacity, Fruity Loops, Cakewalk or Adobe Audition which would u choose?

Cakewalk is awesome. *It can't record rock* is bull****. I love using Cakewalk for everything.

I use Cool Edit Pro 2 but I'm going to try out Cubase.
