heh!you read my text and stole the principal idea. i wrote it for school.(here's a part of the text with a bad translation)
I was at a record store, and there were these two guys talking about how 'punk died with Sid Vicious' and that 'it was dead for good'.I thought to myself "Sid was all about 'looking good and being a junkie', pretty much everybody know that."
The good thing is that I started to think about the whole 'punk is dead' thing. What's punk anyway? For me, punk died december 22, 2002.The day Joe Strummer died.He always fought for his convictions, always cared more about the fans than the money, he sew politics and music together and he always played what he wanted to play.He always wanted things to change and acted to make this world a better place. He is an inspiration and a positive influence. And he was in the greatest band of all time. That's my perception of punk rock, whatever punk rock is.But when I say that punk died with him...it's the attitude...not the music.Cause when you think about it, music can't die.To someone, it can seems like punk died with Joey or Johnny Ramone...or even Sid...cause they were to them what Joe was to me.But there's something people need to understand...MUSIC CAN'T DIE.
CombatRock

They're on hiatus. There's another Transplants album coming out, Lars is touring with the Bastards, Matt is spending time with his new kid, and Brett is building hotrods.

but my sister thinks paul and joe are hot but she said topper looks like a old crack addict, shes close
maybe it's because i know what they look like right now (old and weird).maybe it's because i have way too much respect for them...but i dont think they're that hot.i don't really care.oh wait.joe is really hot on this black & white picture where he wears the "passion is a fashion" jacket.
Mick looked like a little puppy.now he looks like a pervert.
Topper always looked like an heroin addict and always will.
but who cares!they're the greatest guys ever.
TheNowhereman42
02-23-2005, 11:23 PM
i never liked crass..wasnt there conflict between crass and the clash
yeah Crass always hated The Clash, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, a lot of the oldschool bands, because they were mostly sellouts and hipocrits, and were too worried about images and "punk credentials"
EDIT: They said that we were trash, but our name is Crass, not The Clash!

Coma_Girl
02-23-2005, 11:40 PM
there's only one thing i dont like about them.they were too perfect.so sometimes i feel like it was all a lie and that maybe they weren't so awesome and nice, and true and everything.but when i think more about it, i know they were really like what they seemed to be.
just look at Joe.his opinions were sometimes confused, but he really believed in them and it was the only thing that mattered.he was TRUE.he was so perfect.he wasnt a perfect person, no one is perfect, but his imperfections made him perfect.like the clash...if you understand what i mean.i'm kinda confused

Yeh, you must treat your lover girl right
If you wanna make lover's rock
You must know a place you can kiss to make lovers rock
'Cause everybody knows it's a crying shame
But nobody knows the poor babie's name
When she forgot that thing that she had to swallow
You Western man, you're free with your seed
When you make lovers rock
But woops! there goes the strength that you need
To make real cool lovers rock
'Cause a genuine lover takes off his clothes
And he can make a lover in a thousand go's
