I apologize if this thread already exists, but the search as we all know, is down.
Shaolin Soccer is a crazy kung fu movie about a bunch of old retired kung fu masters forming a soccer team. Its such a hilarious film and it has some wicked graphics in it. Its kinda like Dragonball Z meets The Mighty Ducks. If The Mighty Ducks was about soccer..
..nevermind.
Anyway run out and at least rent this movie. It's definitely not your typical sports flick. I would recommend it to anyone with half a sense of humor.
check it out! :thumb:

It's quite an amusing movie.
Unless you hate stupid stuff.
Then don't bother.

This is a really funny movie. It's sort of in the vein of Major League except with soccer (...and kung fu).

I LOVE YOU!
This movie is amazing. It was in the cinema for about 5 days before it was taken off, and I was so glad I saw it. It's ridiculous.
I cannot wait to buy this movie.

Speaking of soccer movies - anyone seen 'Victory?' (Pele, Sly Stallone, Michael Caine)

a.k.a escape to victory. Also featuring Ossie Ardiles, Bobby Moore and various others i don't remember. It's a fantastic film the second best sport based film I've seen.
Second to.... SHAOLIN SOCCER, I saw this 'bout 18 months ago when a mate of mine bought the DVD on import, it is the perfect combination of comedy and kung fu. The actual soccer part of it is a pretty funny, you can tell who the bad guys are gonna be without too much though: "team evil" amirite?
