Well the super bowl of Nascar is this sunday. Who besides me will be watching the race , who are you pulling for, and for yall who dont like nascar what is yalls opinion about nascar and the race.

Nascar is pretty boring. I mean, if they went around one extremely long course just once, it would be pretty interesting, but they just go around and around in circles. i think its called daytona 500 cause they go around the track 500 times. Go figure.

The race is okay, my moms into it alot, so I watch it some.

I may of only watched the last few laps and the beginning, but that was awesome. I can't wait to laugh at my Science teacher Next Monday!! Stewart was pushed back to 7th from first! Hah!

he was just frustrated after losing 6 positions in the last 3 laps so he vented it out on jimmie johnson, i dont know if there was blocking or something because coming out of turn 4 there was stuff like that going on then it gt worse going into the tri-oval, but it was just frustration, he is a hot-head, i dont care hes still my favorite driver, but after the race they apologized and told the reporters to forget about it, and both of them were standing there so i guess it was noting

I watched some of it. I had to work so I only caught about the last 70 laps. Decent race, though I despise Gordon. Nascar is one of those things either you like it or you hate it. There isn't much middle ground. I wish there were a few more road courses. And in the last few years Nascar has become so politically correct it's disgusting.

common the whole reason this sport was invented cos the cops didnt want moonshine sumglers on the street. so basicaly the foundation of this sport is moonshine

I guess as far as sponsers go, I don't really care. I still call it the Winston Cup though instead of Nextel Cup.

The only reason they changed it was because Winston was a brand of smokes. And because of all of the litigation and such against big tobacco they didn't want that bad publicity associated with Nascar.

The way Dale Jr. (the fan favorite in this sport) ran in the 20's the whole race, then came up to the front at the beginning makes you wonder if NASCAR is set up. Because why would his car suddenly be able to do that in the last 10 laps?

its called having a stradegy..some driver choose to race like that if his car is really good..dale jr. had a really good car all race so he laid back for he wouldnt get caught in a wreck up front also, DEI owner of dale jrs. are speicalizes in superspeedway races, thats why him or micheal waltrip wins most of the daytonas and talladegas..so his car is better at daytona than most cars thats why he was able to lay back most of the race and come back at the end..and his stradgey paid off...nascar isnt rigged..
