View Full Version : Need help finding an old game.

Ok so lately i've really been wanting to find this game. Here's what I remember about it:

I used to play it on the Sega Genesis.
It was set in ancient greece (i think), You would play as a guy who had the power to transform into a Werewolf, and Im pretty Sure Gagoyle and some others.
It was a Side Scrolling game.



Any help would be appreciated.

Good idea for a thread.

I used to play this game on a very old machine when I was 5 (I'm 17 now), the machine took tapes (like audio tapes) and in the game you played as an Egg-like charecter. It was 2D obviously and I have no idea what it's name was, I played with a joystick and it was in black and white.

Can anyone help me? I'd like to be able to play it again. :(

So i just searched Alfred Beast on Google and got nothing.


Anyone have Screenshots/or a place where i could check it out to see if that's it?

I'm so sure this was called Alfred Beast on the Mega Drive version. Oh well, nice to know you got it

haha, Alfred Beast.

But it's true, Altered Beast was/is a fantastic game. Good luck finding it.

Oh man!!.. I remember playing that game for hours on an arcade machine back when I was 6!.. Man.. That's ages ago

After doing a search on Google, there seemed to be a PS2 Version in the making. It says it's canceled now...

I'm 98% sure you played it on an old Commodore 64. I had an offroad racing game on tape back in the days. And I mean tape. The frigging thing saved data on normal cassettes, like you put the in your tape deck in the car.

Sadly, I have no clue what the name of the game could have been... Maybe google for 'egg man +c64' or something like that

Sir that gmae was called Fantastic Dizzy. I had it on a double game catridge along side Cosmic Spacehead for the megadrive.

Dizzy! Oh man, I used to love that game. I had Crystal Adventure or something. It was like a 2D RPG on my Amiga. Good times, I only got to the second level though, they were huge.
