Yeah, it sounds fun in theory but when you actually play online it takes forever, and you never finish an actual game.

Yep.

On a LAN it's much more fun. Because you can turn around and yell HURRY THE **** UP ASSHOLE!

Haha..

2 players is actually somewhat bearable to a degree, especially if you know each other beforhand and have something like Teamspeak or Roger Wilco to shoot the breeze whilst amassing armies to murder each other out of existence.

It is long, but playing multiplayer scenarios is better... ****s addictive though

I could never stand the wait.

Sometimes I play the game of the month from civfanatics.com.

They are usually fun, although I've never placed.
