Your Mom, B*tch

There are quite a few things that you can do to prevent disease and illness in your life and they really are quite simple, fairly pain free, and don't involve taking drugs or medication. Overall they will help to keep you in better health and make you feel happier in your life. I have followed this for a few years and have not been sick a single time. Well I take that back, I had a cold for 1 day last year. Try eating at least a serving of each of the foods listed per day, or if you can't then just eat more of each type you can. Try to diversify as much as possible though because each food type has it's own specialty to help you.
Also this has a lot of good stuff in it, so you should review it:

First and foremost obviously is exercising 4-5 times a week for 30 minutes. Stress is a huge contributor to a poor immune system, so try to eliminate it. Working out helps a lot with it.
Foods:
Bananas are an excellent source. They are very inexpensive and contain a significant amount of potassium and vitamin C. Potassium is very important to keep your blood and arteries/circulation strong. Most people don't get enough potassium in a day.
Apples: Similar to bananas. Great source of vitamin C
Tomatoes: Very high in vitamin C and contain lycopenes which help stave off cancer and infections. These are one of the best vegetables you can put into your body because of the lycopenes.
Spinach: High in fiber and vitamin K, C, and tons of antioxidants. Antioxidants are important because they filter out toxins in your body and make sure your organs are in tip top shape. Think of antioxidants as if they were a degreaser for an engine.
Broccoli: Each piece contains hundreds of compounds that are basically like a rubber for your insides. Make sure you eat at least a few pieces of broccoli every day, because this is one of the hardest fighting illness fighters.
Grapes: Probably the best "food" for you. Contains 20-50x more potent disease and illness fighters than vitamin C or E. The seed extract is really good for you.
Cranberries: With grapes, probably the best food for you. Best antioxidzer you can put in your body. Cranberries are intense, but don't skimp on the real thing for some Welch's crap or whatever. Get real cranberries or REAL cranberry juice.
Flaxseeds: You may remember me going off about these in my previous thread, and I can't help but promote these. These do so much for your body that it's insane. They rip crap off your intestines, remove antioxidants and work real hard to help your immunse system.
L-Glutamine: This is a very important amino acid that serves in building some of the proteins that are the backbone of your immune system. Unfortunately, when you exercise levels of this amino acid are really drained, so supplementation is important.
As I'm sure you've noticed, you can make a salad and eat pretty much every one of these great foods all at once. That would be my suggestion; to make a big salad you can munch for lunch every day with this stuff in it (obviously not the cranberries, glutamine, grapes, etc) . One serving of each of these is about a cup worth or 1 banana, apple, 2 pieces of broccoli, 1 spoonfull of flaxseeds. Try to eat a serving of at least 75% of these per day. In short time your inner parts will be regenerated and cleaned up to optimal condition and your
Stay away from caffeine as much as you can. It has a chemical in it that causes a stress reaction (yes, more stress) in your body. That is a big reason why you feel energized and ready to go...but it hinders your immune system. Rather than coffee drink tea. It has a ton of antioxidants in it.
More tomorrow. Gotta get up early for work training.
