I use both Xfire and The All Seeing Eye. Xfire is better if you have buddys or you are in a clan, but then again my clan just use msn, the leader just sends me details about matches or asks if we just want to do a bit of friendly waring on a public server, this is our alterantive to training nights ;) . I only really use the all seeing eye if I'm joining a server on my own.

I agree, Steam is just a pain in the ***, but I rarely use it since I rarely play CS.

I don't use XFire because it's pretty useless to me. When I'm running America's Army, which is the only game I have constant buddies in that I like to play with, it takes up all my computer's memory on it's own. If I try minimizing the screen to check messages, it'll take five minutes and have horrible lag between sending and receiving messages.

my steam is actually working for a change, now i own go on one server practically which happens to be the MX clan server

I like x-fire.

It works well for joining your buds without knowing IPs to servers.

As far as online gaming, I mostly play Call of Duty:UO, I recently joined a clan who play CoD and MoH but although I have MoH I don't really bother to play it anymore, I want to get HL2 so I can play CS:Source but I have a problem with my DVD rom, I know you can purchase it over steam but I just can't really be bothered, so for the moment it's just good old CoD and I might start playing CS Condition Zero again, that's if I'm really bored. Anyone who plays CoD and ever wants some war, my Xfire is edgeintrap(-=[G4L]=- EdGein) ;)
