On the first 7 levels, bowser's body turns into something different in each level when you beat him with fire power. Anyone know what the 8th level body is?

Super Mario World? It's just a bunch of Koopa boss's in each world, and Bowser is in his castle at the end. If that's the game you're talking about.

It would really help if you would specify what Mario Game your referring to, as there is quite a bunch out there. :)

Super Mario Bros. for regular nintendo. came in a package with duck hunt many times.

Level one "Koopa imposter" turns into a goomba when you kill him with just fire flower. I think its level 4 imposter who turns into a red spiked guy. It's the final one that I haven't beaten with just fire flower. I always lose it before I get to him :(

I'm pretty sure the last one is Bowser. I remember playing that game as a kid and getting pissed off at Toad coming out of the bag saying "I'm sorry the princess is at another castle."

The last one most probably is Bowser himself. Keep in mind, the Mario Series was just in it's infant stages. I doubt that big plans were there for the future games.

Plus, those pesky badguys always find a way to come back. ;)

is it possible to jump over the flagpole? and is it true if you use the warp pipe short cut, you have to beat those levels in the end anyway?

Nothing really, you just jump up to the flag on the other end like you normally would. I dnt think your points change though.
