HD Loader

I'm thinking of setting my PS2 up with HD Loader. I've heard that Maxtor HDs are the most compatible. Does anyone know if Western Digital HDs work?

If the Maxtor uses a standard 3 1/2 inch IDE computer hard drive, then WD's will work. Maxtors are cheapest but relatively noisy. Seagates cost slightly more but are very quiet and from my experience extremely reliable, although i don't suppose it would get hard use with a PS2.
