Extended Rules
4. Threads that misrepresent or mislabel the genres of hardcore won't be closed unless the threadstarter has been owned and educated, yet continues to promote falsehoods.
5. Threads about bands that are not really within the genres of hardcore will be tolerated unless they are absolutely off base or unless the threadstarter has been owned and educated, yet continues to promote pursue the band/s as qualified.
6. Advertising is allowed but only if it's reasonable. Everybody who listens to hardcore is always looking for cool new stuff and there are tons of hardcore bands around. Advertising is a cool way to get yours or your friends band out. The rules for advertising though are:
-----i) The band must fit the forum
-----ii) Don't advertise merch or anything. Just the music or shows (shows can be done in the official upcoming shows thread anyway).
-----iii) Any random copy and paste style advertising won't be allowed. This means if some random person goes through every forum just getting the link out, that's uncool.
7. Because this is a newer forum don't come here and complain or even talk about making a forum for whichever genre you show allegiance too, especially ska.
8. As a general courtesy, don't quote anybody who has a picture in their post or at least eliminate the img html tag so that it doesn't repost the pic millions of times. It just makes things ugly. Try to keep the pictures as small as possible.

...more to come / updated articulation of rules...
