well my day was so-so at work. i mowed grass for 9 hours, and got the worst farmers burn ever. my whole arms are burned and are going to blister by tomorrow, all the way up to my shirt line :lol: my face is all burnt, and the part in my hair is burnt (thats the worst because any time you touch your hair it stretches the burn :upset: ) and i got a bit of sunstroke. i took some gravol, haven't had that stuff in a long long time.

well i did pretty good with mowing. it was first day ever, and within 5 minutes i got the hang of it, and after an hour i was doing it without even having to think about it. i even wrote my name in the rough and got yelled at :lol:

unfortunately, after my lunch break, i forgot to throw the blades into gear for about 45 minutes, so it barely cut anything for that time.

last night i cut holes in the foam of my earmuffs to permanently and securely keep a pair of earphones in them. all i have to do now is buy another set of $3 headphones and i'm set.

I think 14" is just too small for a crash. It just doesn't cut it.

i never get more than 5 hours of sleep on a schoolnight, so i dont have the attention span to actually read a book in class. i tried to get through "dr, jekyll and mr. hyde" but i got bored within the first 2 chapters. i was actually able to fake my way through reading it, because both my teachers had never read it :lol:

i did that for all the books i had to read this year. i picked the stupidest looking book, read the first chapter, read the last chapter, and made up the middle.

i watched a documentary on john lennon's assassination and i wanted to read catcher in the rye. maybe one day i'll give it a spin.

well i decided i'm not going to work tomorrow, due to the fact that i feel like doo-doo, my skin is extremely burned, and i'll be mowing for another 10 hours :upset: any time i do something that's partially fun for once, they put me on that job over and over again until i hate it, then they find a new one.

well today i had to mow an area of about 200 square feet that hadn't been mowed in a long time. the grass was easily 6" long, and the mower would "stall" every 5 seconds because of too much grass. it took SOOOOO long.

haha mowing the lawn is tiiight. at least when youre home alone it is. My dads lawnmower had 10hp in it and it wasnt even teh kind you ride on. so i would be mowing and we have bushes all around so i turn the gas all the way up and let go then it cut in a strait line really fast and the bush stopped it but i had to run to get it b4 it completely F*ed up the bushes. it was decent. i havnt mowed in forever though.

$10-$12 an hour. pretty decent. (if you're wondering why its 10-12, its because the maintenance crew only get 10 an hour, but my dad's the manager, so every once in a while he'll pay me 12 an hour, because thats what my friends are making and i told him i wanted to go work there because of the extra 2 an hour. but really i had no intention of working there :lol: )

IMO cooks should make the most money in the restraunt/place because thats the reason the people go there. The stupid waitress people make the most and they dotn do crap...hardly.

im really excited!!! im getting my ASE certification on "engine repair and construction", and a chassis builders degree after one semester, i am already certified in the basics (brakes, lube, and electronics) i just have to get all my credits this semester (math, readin etc.) and ill be able to graduate :cool:

well i just got back from the city. i bought a new discman and "you fail me" by converge. suprisingly they had converge at best buy... :confused:

it cost me $70 total, but i had a $50 gift card i used. then we went to dairy queen and i got a skor blizzard. best blizzard i've ever had.

then we went to my friends and had a huge fire. we chopped up a big "for sale" sign into rectangles, and we stood 4 of them up covering the fire. the paint acted like rocket fuel and just completely lit up, and it had the sound effects too. we got the fire to about 10-15 feet high, with sparks going up past his roof. we had told his mom that we would keep it at a low fire (we tell her that every time) and she was looking out the window at the tower of wood right when it shot up. she looked on in fear/amazement for 5 minutes while we were all laughing.

well that was my day, now i'm off to bed. i'm wiped.

IPods are cool, but **** expensive. A lot of people I know have the Dell ones, and they're pretty nice. You could look into those.
