i love the music for the most part, but geddy's vocals turn me away most of the time. every once in a while i like it, though. it's kind of an on/off band for me right now, but like i said, i like them a bit more every day kind of thing.

Ahh poor geddy... Among all of his other talents he actually is a great singer. The man has some serious range from incredibly high to deep vocals. He's the most talented person in the band I would say simply for his live showing. He plays bass, plays keyboards, sings, and plays the bass pedals all at once! Their live act is the best i've ever seen. Three men who can play at that level with that kind of percision is really something to see.

Anyways I got a black eye today at my soccer practice. I got into a pushing fight over the ball with this other guy. I pushed him back and turned for the ball and he grabbed at my shirt then I pushed him back again then he punched me just bellow my eye.

I must agree. Geddy is very talented musically. On the dvd he just rips it up. A Great bass player. On our radio station here they used to do a competition every year for ugliest man in rock. Geddy Lee has won a few times :lol:

Hey everyone, I'm new here so i thought i might introduce myself. My name is Nicholas, and my interests are drumming, music, and films. Thats pretty much me rite there hah. I've been drumming for about a year and a half now and loving every minute of it. My kit is a Ludwig accent combo, with a Sabain HHX stage ride, B8 hats, and a B8 crash ride. I saved up for about 14 months to get just the kit and the B8 pack (crash ride + hats). It is by far the best purchase i have ever made, and probably ever will make. Well theres my intro. Anyways I have a story about how stupid I was this morning. At 20 to 2:00 this morning our fire alarm goes off. It wakes me and my parents up but not my brother. I being the person I am just stayed in bed and covered my ears and tryed to go back asleep. If there actually was a fire I probably would have gotten myself killed. We don't know why it went off it's a mistery.

This morning at 7"45 or so my mom asks if it woke me up, I replied with Yes. She said well why the hell didn't you get up. I said I knew there was no fire :lol:

fire drills in school were always so pointless. maybe it was just my schools, but they'd actually announce it in the morning that there will be a fire drill at 11:00 or whatever. the teacher would look at the clock, see that it's almost time for the fire drill and just not bother starting something new until after the fire drill. it'd ring, we all walked outside, they did attendance, we went and found our friends, talked for 20 minutes, then went back in. it accomplishes nothing.

Get a tripod or a steady surface where your kit is fully visible.

thats why we said do it responsibly, its the people that do it irresponsibly that go around beating people up, etc while there drunk. the effects of alchohol CAN be reversed. the killing of brain cells cant be. not counting the wasted money, and time spent finding, buying, getting a location, and staying out of trouble with weed and other such drugs. all in all its a waste of time. but if you get the chance just have a nice party with your friends in a controlled environment and youll have an amazing time.

The thing with Cocaine is if you start on a line like in my diagram you go up to a really good high that only lasts about 30 minutes, a short amount of time and then you go back below the line, which will make you depressed which leads to taking more and that is how it becomes addictive
