WOOT in about an hour im putting the first coat of varathane on my drums

i chose satin finish instead of gloss for a number of reasons

satin shows air bubles less
satin wont show that scratches as much
and everyone does gloss

went to the city, got a new winter jacket, america: the book, and i looked at some new drums. i think i'm gonna go with some premier cabria's. 12" rack, 14 and 16" floor toms, 22" bass, sounded amazing. $1200 now, but the guy said they'd go down to $1000 around christmas.

oh, and i saw a single pearl eliminator double chain pedal for $60 at cash converters. would have picked it up if i had money. perfect condition, but the beater was a bit worn down. still, for $60??? i get paid tuesday, hope that gem stays right where it is.

I wouldnt recomment Premier Cabria's...they aren't really an upgrade...if you'r gonna go premier, get the Artist Series...those are way better and more worth the money...

sweet. I just found a bass player to a few weeks ago. I moved over here from cupertino and the bass player did to but form monta vista so its kind cool since we are in the same situation. He sings and hes crazy on bass.

I have a friend who started playing keyboard so i play with him and the bassist we get some pretty cool stuff. Please let me know if you guys play anywhere id definetly come depending on when it is, i get busy during the weekdays. Your genre kind of interests me everything around here now is either punk/hardcore or black metal from what i here so i dont really get out to the gaslighter anymore. nothing too interesting.

Wow those are all sweet movies. Well I dunno about Clockwork Orange, you can't really say its a 'sweet' movie, but its definitally a damn fine film.

Magic Christian is awesome, its got Sellars and Ringo, so it has to be good! Plus its got Badfinger music, which is also kickass.

well first class we watched the rest of lord of the rings- the two towers, since nobody wanted to start the poetry unit for the third day in a row. she just takes a vote, and if no-one wants to work, we watch movies. it's amazing. then we just sat around and listened to the teacher talk second class, took no notes. in my spare for third block i finished off my english essay and pretty much copied a whole wikipedia article on telescopes, changing the wording to try to hide the fact that it's not like my writing at all. then in fourth block we wrote a 30 question test, and 12 of the questions were the exact same question worded differently. no exaggeration. i counted them. needless to say, i did great on that test.

well first class we watched the rest of lord of the rings- the two towers, since nobody wanted to start the poetry unit for the third day in a row. she just takes a vote, and if no-one wants to work, we watch movies. it's amazing. then we just sat around and listened to the teacher talk second class, took no notes. in my spare for third block i finished off my english essay and pretty much copied a whole wikipedia article on telescopes, changing the wording to try to hide the fact that it's not like my writing at all. then in fourth block we wrote a 30 question test, and 12 of the questions were the exact same question worded differently. no exaggeration. i counted them. needless to say, i did great on that test.
