Speaking of my smelly undergarmets, I left a pair of bloody underwear under the futon in my drum room for nearly 3 weeks.
Today when I found them, there was like a colony of maggots living on them and the carpet beneath and around them turned black.
God.
Today was a great day.

Sometimes they are oustside and oyu can see a screen of themif they have a colony in the dirt.

You know, I'll bet you could sue them if they didn't deliver a girl with it, assuming they didn't have "Does not come with girl" on the advert. I mean, in a world where MacDonald's has to have "Caution! Hot!" on their coffee, tea and apple pies, it's not so far fetched.

yeah but if you sell her you can get another bag with anothe girl and then sell her and then buy another and then sell her and buy another, you'll have four stick bags and one girl.

you can then sell the three stick bags, buy some fajitas, goldfish (the snack that smiles back at you), some toothpaste, and oragami paper.

depending on how much you sell each girl for, you should still have plenty of money to buy some pretzels. with all these things at your disposal you can create the worlds best drumsticks to put in you stick bag and have a girl to hold the stick bag.

that's what i would do at least.

I got beef on a normal roll with out salt, and instead of horseradish, they gave me CHEDDAR FRICKEN' CHEESE!!!

How in God's name to you confuse horseradish, which is chunky and off white, with nacho cheese?!?!?!?

It's like a 10 minute drive there and I was hungry.
The reason I don't go to a different place is because it's a small little mom and pop business and it's one of the last ones around here.
As much as I hate the bastards, I feel better giving my $5 to them rather than McDonalds.
That and I stole a bottle of Sobe and 3 bags of chips before I left.

Well my dog pwns all your cats. He's a bit of an idiot though he's 10 but so hyper people think he's a puppy. The other day my friend was over and my dog just randomly started running around the basement so fast it souded ike he was ripping up the carpet. The only downside is all he does it lick people, lick, lick, lick. It gets disturbing after awhile. He is great to be with and rather than just being hyper he can ly on the couch with you and sleep lol. But he's kinda big so I go on the other couch or sit beside him while he takes it up. Dont get me wrong cats are awesome too.

just got home from work, feeling terrible. i've been getting migraines all day, and i haven't really been able to breathe so well since noon. and i was on my feet constantly at work, surrounded by heat and/or noise, really not alot of fun. made $15 in tips though. i labeled 3 blank cd's and left them on the computer desk so i could burn them when i got home, but my dad cleaned it off and he doesn't know where he put them. oh well, i'll have to get 3 new blank cd's. sigh.

i'm going to burn these cd's, lay down in my room with the lights off, music low, and then fall asleep. i may watch stella, but i don't know if i'll be able to stay awake that long. everyone else should watch it though. i love whoring this show. on comedy central in an hour and a half, best show on tv.

just the name meatloaf sounds gross. it's a loaf of meat. ground beef, not even something good like steak. ground beef is ground up meat that's been squirted through a little tube and piled into rectangles so they can sell it.

then you make a loaf out of it and cook it. that's nasty.

starting next semester, the MAXimum amount of sleep i'll be getting is 6 hours. and that's only if i manage to fall asleep the moment i lay my head down, which won't happen. i'm the type of person who can barely functin with less than 8 hours a night.

the second time it recommended i become a crossing gaurd.

the test was gay becuase the questions were like:

do you enjoy making wooden cabinets? possible answers were yes, undecided, or no. there was about 75 questions just like that.

stupidest test i've ever taken.

hey, this is probably a stupid question, but i just want to make sure.

painting the shells of my drums with regular wall-paint wouldn't have any negative effect, would it? as in, it wouldn't get into the wood and effect the sound or strength?

i'm going tomorrow to pick up the paint. i've got it all planned out. black "rings" from the bottom of the lugs to the top of the shell, same thing for the bottom, then bright green in the middle of the toms, and yellow in the middle of the bass drum.

it's not bad. the double bass was pretty descent, though it sounded really dead in that song.

it's not really my type of music, but compared to a lot of the new music in this genre out there today it's decent. the song had a good energy to it, and at least the vocals were understandable.

they have potential. i'm not really the best one to judge this type of music however because it's not my style and i don't want to give any harse criticism because of that fact.

i know what you mean. you'd be supprised just how much i cost us (i say us even though i personally spent nothing) just to build that one room. plus it's really time consuming. i fortunate to have a father that can build real well. he's actually a realestate inspector, so you bet everythings up to code.

It is pretty hard, got to put in a lot of work. It doesn't help that I didn't do music GCSE though. I only started learning about proper theory in A level so its been pretty hard to catch up.

just got home, made myself some tea to go along with my crackers and salsa. yum.

i got all my wraps off last night, just waiting to go pick up paint. the wood on my drums doesn't look as bad as i imagined it would, the grain could actually make for some good staining. but i'd rather paint than stain.

on wednesday i'm going to a play that the school's been working on all school year. i went to the one last year, and was fairly bored by it. i've heard that this one is better, but i'm still pretty sure i'll be bored. i only go because friends of mine are the main actors/stage managers, and it's only like 60-90 minutes long. do any of you enjoy plays?

I had to go to my brothers schook play the other year and it was ok. He was one of the main actors... I also had to go see one with my Grandmother... I thought it would be terrible but it was hillarious.

She is 18 and started playing a year ago to join a band in Philly. They sucked (Her words) And she decided to move to Brandon (30 min drive for me) To live with some family before she goes to school.

yeah tehy dont offer cable to most trailers.

it was teh same with this city in oregon, tehy changed their name to some website and they got free internet i think.

In mountain view, a few miles where i live, where google is based, they offer free internet because they out up like harmful antenas or something. And its not a small city.

Trailers.
Why do people live in them?
The land rent is so expensive you're better off owning a house.
And when you're in a house you have less of a chance of being beaten to death with a tire iron in the middle of the night by an enraged old man.
You can get cable, too.

LoneStarDrummer
11-17-2005, 06:12 PM
because they're cheaper than a house and people are poor.
if you want cable all you have to do is still it from your neighbor.

The reason I came in here, out of all the clinicians/independent drummers who do you think is the best(Mangini, Lang, Minnomen people in that catagory) I ask because I want to pick up one or two DVDs. Probably going go get Tommy Igoe and Bissonette, but not sure, the minnomen clips didn't intrest me too much. Its between Bissonette and Lang for the second but if theirs other people to know about I'd like to know other freelancing drummers

ohh okay. imo Lang's dvd is more of something you should put a lot of attention and effort towards. so you'll probably want to pass on that one in this case if your looking for inspiration. don't get me wrong Lang can be inspiring. i sometimes listen to the song that plays during the main menu as inspiration, but in his creative control dvd it's mostly exercises, not really something to watch and get motivated to try and imitate with just the casual viewing.

at least that's how i feel.

Igoe is groove enough for me. I'd say my playing is 80% groove and 20% chops, seriously before I heard my teacher play I heard noone groove like me in real life and I heard alot of people play in music stores and some guys had crazy chops, even the drummers who play only jazz in my school don't come close. My teacher grooves HUGELY though, I would say that he grooves better then ANYONE I have heard in videos too. I could probably watch him play for longer then Gadd. He played the kit for about 5 minutes and it wasn't even set up, he is such an amazing player its not even funny. I wish I could groove like that but he is a different type of player then me so I know that I will never be able to play like that because it comes from inside so no matter how much you much you practice you won't be able to play with emotion like that
