heres how to get rid of it
you need to download 3 programs
spybot search and destroy
ad aware
and spysweeper
run them and and if you have an anti virus program running it aswell wont hurt
then reboot your computer and it should be gone
this will also clear your computer of any other crap and it will then run faster

I was just joking man, I knew you wern't being serious.
Ya jim your right a 5 year gap isn't that bad but it is somewhat different when the girl, in this case, is 14 and the guy is 19. Those are two totaly differents sides of the hs spectrum, which would seem somewhat odd. But as soon as people are in university or past that, that oddness changes and it doesn't matter anymore, noone seems to care about the age difference but when it is a 5 year diff in HS people take almost an offence to it.

Seafroggys
10-22-2005, 01:40 AM
its just one of those urban legend things that gets passed around...
i actually like it, it works fairly well...a 60 year old could date a 37 year old...I could date a 16 year old (which I wouldn't) and going the opposite way, the oldest someone can be and still be safe to date me is 24 (in a month, when i turn 19).

Ok well last night I put my new heads on my toms and the sounded pretty good from a couple taps, but then this morning when I was playing around on my kit I noticed that my rack toms was buzzing. I figured out that the head hadn't seated properly. So I cranked it down, to roughly the same tension all around, in hopes of it seating better while leaving it under the tension all day and night. I'll tune it back down to my normal playing pitch and see if it worked out properly. If it doesn't does anyone have any other tips on seating a head?

I'm not a percussion-ist, but I had to post this here:
"You're such a grody attention whore you stupid fusty walrus!. And I bet you smell like fish, too."
This comment was aimed at a VERY good friend of mine by a member of this board. I just wanted to say that i think it's disgraceful. They've never met her, and I can tell you she is definately not attention seeking in th LEAST. I have to coax her to play her drums when I'm around as shes so embarrassed. And she doesn't smell like fish.......she has a more...floral scent. So there :p

She got hers done, but apparently you've got to have a birth certificate on top of ID if you're under 18. So I've got to go tomorrow.
But it's still great...
I've wanted to get them pierced for like 3 years.
In another unrelated note I just murdered my midterm for International Development Studies. It's 30% of my final mark and I worked hard for this one. 5 days of straight studying. No one needs to care, I just felt like sharing one of my school successes
That and I was able to trade in my XS20 14" rock hats and 18" rock crash straight up for a 20" AAX Stage crash

Im planning on buying new cymbals, and im thinking of getting some Zildjians. I saw a set that included one crash, one ride, the hi hat and one china, and other seth that includes the same as the other but instead of having one china it has another crash. So should i get two Crashes or one Crash and one China?

Ok....is it just me or has there been an influx of newer members to D&P....almost all of which have really hostile attitudes? It's kinda disturbing, there seems to be a lot more....edginess.
In an effort to combat this, I had 4-hour long, very depressing conversation with my girlfriend last night about our relationship. Oh shi-

Haha, ya, basically what I discovered is that I'm a lot more eotionally attached and involved in this relationship than she is....ya, it's fantastic. Now, that isn't to say she doesn't like me, she likes me a lot. But it's still hard, thinking and knowing that you're putting so much more energy and feeling into a relationship than the other.

Aight.
This is a tragus piercing.
I've already got my mom to let me get it, but I need to know if I should get one or both of them done.
Right now I've got two holes in each of my earlobes, and one upper cartilage in each ear. Should I just get one tragus or two?

Ahh man I know exactly how you feel. I was the same way with my last gf but then she pulled out the i'm not sure anymore line and then let it run out about a week longer with her "thinking" about it. It was quite depressing being stuck in the outcast zone. Then she dumped me and said that I didn't pay enough attention to her and that I jammed with my band to much, even though at the time we had only jammed 3 or 4 times compared to our everyday all the time jamming. She was somewhat of a biotch who apparently didn't give a **** about the relationship.

See, my girlfriend's really not like that, she really wants to make it work, and it hurts her as much as it hurts me. She doesn't think she deserves me, though. Which is kinda ridiculous, althuogh her reasoning was that she doesn't deserve me because I'm puttig so much forward and she can't give as much back.

last night we went drinking in a new part of town, in a half-built house. we all drank beer and just hung out in the house for a few hours until someone called the cops. luckily there's only one road going to the house we were in, so we could see the cop car pull in from far away. i went outside to down another beer, and i saw them pull in. so i went and told everyone, we grabbed what beer we had left, and ran through the field. it was pretty fun, since the cops were circling the area we were hiding. i decided i didn't want to get caught with the rest of my beer on me, so i downed it all in like 2 minutes. we waited half an hour, then went back to the house and made a 5-level 3 dimensional pyramid out of the beer cans, with a little left over. that's 55 beer cans in the pyramid. we tried taking pictures of it, but it was too dark by then, and no-one's phone camera picked it up.

Apparently my tragus is really thick, so the chick who pierced me had trouble getting it through and it took her a few seconds. It really kind of hurt, but in an enjoyable way, and it bled like a mofo.
I only got one, no thanks to anyone here, but I think I'm going back in 6 weeks to get the other one.

In the next year, I'm getting another hole in each lobe, and then my other tragus. Then when I'm 18, I'm having my helix and rook done in both ears, a horizontal lobe in my left ear, an industrial in my left ear, and I'm gauging my lower right lobe out to a 14 and getting my daith done.
Then I plan on getting my left eyebrow pierced twice, my right nostril, the bridge of my nose done, and the right side of my lip pierced.

I have one on my upper arm, Its a trippy looking design with a circle of water around it. ( hard to explain, but its pretty neat)
I wouldn't get more than one if i were you. Like obscurity said, finding a job will be tough.
About the time I see someone with a new tat, I see an old person with one. Then I notice how incrediblly horrible it looks when your skin is saggy, the color is faded and such.

Jokes on the internet don't translate well, apparently. Like that time I posted how I was planning on bombing the Pentagon in the FBI forums. They got their panties all in a ruffle over that one. Suckers.

well the teachers in BC are gonna go on strike again...lol...except now ALL the unions are going on permanent hiatus until the teachers get what they want..so it wont last long :(
the teachers in NB has a "Strike" last year...didnt go as far as no school, but they cut out any involvement in after school stuff (no sports etc..) and every teacher took their entitles 1 hour lunch and prep peroid....so that somehoe meant a 2hr lunch....all in all, not too shabby...but if i was involved with my school, i'd be pissed

DEAR GOD.
I got like four hours of fricken' sleep because my ear hurt so bad last night.
Argh.
Cleaning it is a pain in the caboose, too.
I have to rub soap in with my fingers, but the skin is swollen and it hurts to even think about touching it, and then I've got to stick my head in the whole sink in order to rinse it properly.
Ugh.
On another note, I realized the benefits of a person with a stump of an arm in the sack during gym today.

well, a retarded moment just happened to my friends. i'll explain it the best i can.
so my one friend, (we'll call him 'A') owes my other friend ('B') $175, and owes another friend ('C') $5. so we go to the bank so that A can take out $180, and B can pay C the $5 extra that he gets from A. so they're infront of the machine, and they start joking around, then it partially escalates to the point where they're punching each other quite hard. all this is done as friends, but to the onlooker, i suppose it could look like a real fight. so i'm standing back, waiting for them to get the money, and i see that one of the tellers is looking at us. i realize the situation, and decide to let it go on, and see what happens. anyways, A finally takes out $180 in 20's, at which point, B grabs it out of his hands. A, being the idiot he is, frantically grabs back the money that no longer belongs to him, and rips 3 of the 20's. they get in a little fight again, and the lady is worried by now. she just saw someone getting punched, taking out a big wad of cash, having it taken from him, and him trying to grab it back. she comes out and asks what is going on, quite scared and cautious. my friends don't know that she was looking, and they try to joke around with her, but it only makes it worse for them. the manager comes out, etc. you know where this is going...

Thats and interesting place for your deoderant.
I love to keep my femminine products near my food.
Is anyone here in college?
I'm really thinking about graphic design instead of music right now, but I took no HS courses that have any relation to it.
Everything I've taken was either music or english related.
Since I'm a fricken' senior already there is no option to go back.
Is it too late to change? Would doing that in college be way too much work?
