I had one between the nail and the skin on my index finger, I tried cutting it out but it just came back bigger. Then this idiot stabbed my finger with a bic biro and it went right into the wart, it wen't hard and died. But the thing coming off it was like 1/2 an inch long going down my finger.

speaking of warts, i had a blister thing on the side of my fingernail a while ago from playing guitar, and then it got infected and turned to more of a green callous. after a while i just picked at it, and it was white skin overtop of a green piece of something, it reminded me of something like a sliver that i pulled out of my finger. i had no clue what it was, so i kept it, and no one else really knew either, it just looked infected.

Yeah I've shaved this one off with a razor TWICE, but each time, it wouldn't stop bleeding until I put emense pressure on it for a prolonged period of time, and it also grew back. They have roots into your skin, so a razor won't cut it.

nope, school here starts at 8 and i walk with a bunch of people. we leave at about 7 and stop at the park for 10-20 min before to hang out. we get to school right as they open the doors to start going to our lockers and stuff.


and to say some phobia's of mine(missed it on page 309), spiders are the big one. clowns arent too bad, but theyre still kind of freaky. bees seem to like me ever sence i picked one out of my hair back in like '97 or something. it flew into my hair and landed upside down. i thought it was a leaf, but nope, bee.

and the dumbest thing i have ever heard someone say about a fear, ranch dressing. yeah, he was probably high when he said it, but he said it.

man, incase anyone's been following, you'd know my english class is a total joke. and here's some more proof to back it up. today we stacked pard for half an hour to see what group of 4 people could get the highest stack. eventually we got second place with a 2 level pyramid, 6.5" high. the winner was 6.75" high. :lol: in english class. then she got people who knew card tricks to show the rest of the class.

well i had a great idea today when i was playing drums... "i have a spare ride cymbal with no stand, where can i mount it? that's right! my hi-hat stand." i put it under my hi-hat. and i put my little self-modified "timbale" on my l-rods holding my toms. then i used my marching snare, put it on my spare stand which i no longer need because i used to use it for the timbale, and put the marching snare to my left side. so i've got a whole "snare/ride/hats" combo just on my left side. here's a pic...

i put it on my hi-hat rod, underneath my hats. i used a felt inbetween them of course. and my timbale is just sitting on the l-rods, nothing's really holding it in place, just letting gravity do it's job.

I thought signals was good and vapor trails had some cool songs on it, Vapor trails was a weird step for them though IMO, if you like live stuff get Rush in Rio DVD, that is a great movie (besides the crowd being so **** loud)

OH and definetly pick up "Fly by night" By-tor and the snow dog is an amazing song. being the first album with peart on it (i believe) They still had to grow into there sound, but its still one of my favorite albums. And if you ever pick up "all the worlds a stage" The instrumental section is lengthened quit a bit.

Ok story time.


So during Misery Signals' set, I felt something hit the top/back of my head, and a guy grabbed my shoulder and said sorry, apparantly he'd hit me, with his elbow or something.

So the whole set goes on, VERY AWESOME, great band. Eventually the lights come on for a second and the guy says I'm bleeding, apologizes again, etc. I reach up and yep, I'm bleeding! lol
Apparantly he'd actually hit me with his teeth, he'd been pushed forward when I was moving back or something, and got me.

So after their set, he says sorry again, it's cool and he runs off somewhere to do something else or whatever. My friend notices and says it's running down my neck, so I take off my shirt (Which happened to be white, of course. Already bloody at the neck) and pat it all, try to clean it up. Pour some water over my head, go buy a Walls of Jericho shirt and threw it on lol

Great show though, best I've seen in awhile.

i just got new shoes. it's about time, too. i had my old shoes for almost 3 years now, and they had huge holes on the insides of them.

unfortunately for me, i have wide feet, and shoes nowadays are all made to fit like a glove, so the only shoes that ever fit me at stores are those really dorky nike shoes with checkmarks and lines and colors everywhere.

the thing i don't like about my new shoes is they only have 6 holes on each side. i've always laced my shoes the same, but with these, the laces come out the ways on the last hole, which makes them a bit tighter around the ankle than if they went in.

It's a nice little gretsch kit with a 10" popcorn snare on the side, hopefully I have time to get it up in front as a 3rd rack tom :cool: Not many cymbals, they mostly had AAX's set up id say around 6 cymbals.

Looked decent though.

Ugh, A level is so crap. So much written work, especially for biology. I have to explain how the stucture of arteries, veins and capillaries helps them to do their job. I Also had to finish my presentation on a chloroplast, oh the joy...

Wow, what a day at school. Today I really got to meet and talk to 3 drummers in the school band that I'm in, one is really cool been playing for 2 years and although he isn't really good at set he is great at snare. Another kid is pretty close minded and quite annoying, now the other kid is sooo competive it isn't funny... I knew him we're pretty cool we talk w/e so I'm practicing during lunch and he comes in, in the middle of my beat I look up and he's looking at me, I stop say "Can I help you?" scarcasticly, then the annoying goes and says he thinks you suck, then he says, you really need to practice with a metronome. Now I know I play on time becuase I record myself yesterday and the only time where I was off time was when I was about to finish and I was just playing some super quick rimshots the get the agression out(you know, after some nice ol' groovin) Yesterday he was argueing with the annoying kid saying like you suck and you've been playing mad long, and the other kid goes, yeah u take lessons and all that crap. Well anyway now that you know the background today at jazz band he had to play a regular 4/4 backbeat with crossstick on 2 and 4 because it was supposed to be latin feel, and he couldn't play straight eigths, so the teacher kicked him off the set and the other cool kid went and he did alright but he isn't much a of set player. Today I was accually practicing instead of what I normally do(just play around come up with one or two new things) and I came up with some REALLY impressive chops, my sister has a digital cam and if it can take like even 10 second videos I'll put on the little lick that I came up with, well its not only one, its like 2 or 3 based on one, its pretty much a 32nd note fill withing a beat with 8ths on the ride not missing on ride hit. The other thing im working on is the double stroke from tom1 to snare drum which is also unbelievably hard to do right, I did it yesterday no problem when my band was there, but the feedback from the guitars didn't make me hear it all the clearly and now that I did hear it its very bumpy

Man your college is harsh. Loads of people failed in ours and no one got kicked out. Everyone just resits the exams they did bad in. I failed business studies completely (got a U) but now im dropping it.

man, i have to do a report on ash trees/wood for the 22nd, whenever that is. it seems pretty easy though, i just have to find some pictures of it and where it is harvested the most, and uses. i was going to do birch or bubinga so i could include drums as a use, but birch was taken, and he had never heard of bubinga so he didnt know if i was going to make the whole thing up or not, so i couldnt do that.

and i will probably get some experience on a router this year or next, so that will help with my grad. project of making a kit from raw materials. and i dont have to buy one because i have a friend who is going to try and get one for his garage/workshop sometime.

well i went to practice my rudiments, and had absolutely no interest in it. i wanted to play my kit. so i sat down, started hitting everything oh so gently, barely making a sound, and then started increasing speed, and with it, sound, until i was bustin' out some major chops on my drums, full volume. my mom comes down the stairs, totally confused, and yells at me. "what the HELL are you doing???" i forgot she had gone to bed like an hour ago. :lol:

I ate **** today skating and I think I really damaged my left shoulder/arm.

It feels terribly weak, and slightly soar all over, more near the top area though. It feels like I've been lifting weights ALL day with this one arm, no breaks, and now it's a struggle to lift a bowl of cereal extended for more than 2 seconds. I can't even begin to play drums right now. What a bummer, I hope this won't last long.

plan b, that reminds me of one time back in the day when my hip first popped out. i was born with deformed hips. it's supposed to be like a ball in a cup/bowl, but mine are like a ball on a plate. so every once in a while my hip will start to make it's way out, and i have to put intense pressure on it just to stop it from popping all the way out, oh is that harsh.

well the first time it popped, i was playing soccer. i went to take a free kick, and curl it around the kid standing right in front of me. using a left-to-right motion in my leg (i'm left footed), my leg kept going right, and my left hip popped completely out. that was the worst pain i've ever felt, stumbling 30 seconds back to the bench. i had to go to the hospital, but there was a 3 hour wait, so i just got my coaches to actually pull my leg down and push it back in place.

now it just starts to move it's way out, it's only popped completely out twice.

the first 6 months of my life, i had to wear a hip brace type thing, where my knees were pushed right up close to my face. this was supposed to form my hips correctly, but it didn't do everything they wanted it to do. it just kind of "indented" the middle part, but the outsides are still pretty flat. oh well, i can live with it.

well this is my last post for the night, i really have to go do my homework. i've had 4 days to do it, and keep putting it off, and it's due tomorrow. i have to color code and label the entire world according to their political systems: democracies or dictatorships. he gave us a list for the onesthat are 'iffy', so as not to cause mass confusion for governments that aren't strictly democratic or dictatorial. i've labeled about 3/4 of them, but coloring them is the worst part.

man, today was hell in school. we had a full 80 minute for first class, and then the terry fox run all second class, then 3 classes in the afternoon. luckily we skipped the run, and had a 2 hour lunch break. we went to my friends' and watched 'snatch'.

well in my english class, we had to do a response to the whole "prince harry wears a nazi armband to a costume party fiasco" thing, and i just let loose. it was like maddox's rants, but my own. it was actually fun for me to do that.

then we had a pop quiz in social, and i failed it. and i had no clue what was going on in science, since i don't even want to be in that class, and the teacher kept asking me to repeat what she had just said. i hate when they do that. then we did some experiment that i still don't know the purposes of.

Well i officially feel like ****.

Went to a ska-punk show today. All of the supports apart from one sucked more dick than a hooker. And to make matters worse i came down ill half way through and had to gut my way through the rest to see the headliners last show. If that wasnt enough then i had another great problem to deal with.

Lets start this one with a quick dip into my past. A couple of months ago all my friends had ditched me or left for uni. I had no one. I lived my life alone and turned to alcohol and drugs to try and help (FYI it didnt. Dont do it) and when in a drug induced stupor one day a lass helped me out. We got to talking and i kinda fell for her. We got together and lasted for a while and i was happy. She helped me clean myself up. Then one day outta the blue, she broke up with me. After a couple of days she was back, explainin it was a mistake blah blah blah, and like a sucker, i beleived her. Some stuff happened between us, and i was planning to ask her back out after a show. So jus before i leave for the show, she turns up at my door with a lad saying she needed a place to sleep with him! Needless to say i was devastated. So yeah, i took a turn for the worse.

Now things are on the up again, i had the guy she was with that night talking to me tonight. Talkin about her an **** they've done together. So yeah. Now im on the verge of another breakdown.

I know you guys probably arent interested but it makes me feel a bit better to get it off my chest.

Hey man, don't let it get ya down. She's not worth it. I've had some girl trouble in my past, so I kinda know what you're going through. It feels aweful, but it will get better. Soon you'll realise that girls come and go, and you can't let them get you down too much. I'm assuming you're a teenager, which in that case means teen emotions get kinda crazy. One day they like you, the next they don't. I wouldn't advise putting too much emotion into a teen relationship, they're too shaky. You'll only end up getting hurt. Once your in your twenty somes everyone's emotions will get steadier, then you can begin to think about long term relationships. But, for now, just put your emotions into your music and keep your relationships with the opposite sex on the side. I hope you get better. :sympathy:

right now i have a pearl session studio with pulse hats and crash and paiste dimensions ride and splash. i got paid today though so im that much closer to new hats. after hats and 2 crashes, better snare (right now im thinking mapex black panther cherry, or this tama african bubinga special edition snare. its not the exotix one, but its pretty much the same thing.)

Im in love with Lamb of God.... I have been playing with this Emo band...but we keep starting to cover heavier and heavier music, and we are doing some LOG know (finally) Fun stuff to play with a band.
