well i'm not a FF person really (although i play chrono trigger a bit), half life II is too new to be a "great," havn't really played MGS.

Also, GTA III, showed a new level of freedom in gaming when it game out. It felt so free compared to games full of scripted sequences...

Honestly the GTA series could have stopped at GTA2 and I would have been perfectly happy. Thats still the best one if you ask me. Metal Gear Solid owns this poll.

ffVII is the best game up there the graphics may not be up to much compared to the others but its not the graphics that make the game its the storyline and gameplay that make you want to play the game in the first place so i gave my vote to the best game on the poll and im sticking to my opinion that half-life 2 should not have been on there it is far too new to be with any of the other games on the poll. but gta 3 was close behind in my voting but it lost out to the better game in the end so tough. :D

Never been an FF fan, the whole series to me feels like the same game over and over with different subtleties to the storyline/graphics. Nothing fundamentally changed, ever. *shrugs* Haven't played Half-Life 2, and though it may be a grand advancement in graphics, is it really so stunning? I could see about a million other games with the same storyline trying to do the same thing. Metal Gear Solid is, well... Solid. But I like what GTA did for storylines, and while motorcycles and copters are great, I voted for GTA3.

GTA3. it was better than vice because it had a better sort of dark city street gangster atmosphere which i preferred. and gta gameplay is generally amazing and addictive.

I could put down several games on here for good reason (fanboy-ism, unoriginality), but I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

One question, if we have all these great shooters on here, then why not add the greatest shooter of all time, DooM? :thumb: The weapons are perfect, the enemies are perfect, the powerups are perfect, the customizability is perfect (easy to make new levels and sprites), what's there not to like?

I voted for Vice City because it's the only one I've played, and the only one I want to (apart from GTA III).
