I figured we need a thread to combat the "Seen any bad movies lately" thread. There's a lot more good movies than bad ones, well, that I choose to watch anyway. I just saw Man On Fire, and although it was fairly slow at the beginning, it turned out to be pretty darn good.
Well, lets see the quality movies everyone's seeing :thumb:

Nah it was really him, he turns into a speedboat and drives Spongebob and Patrick back to Bikini Bottom...then his chest turns into two separate squares and they shoot Spongebob and Patrick back underwater!
Nope, but I got one of those Blockbuster unlimited rental deals for $14.99 and watched the whole first season of 24. Awesome show. I'm gonna watch the 2nd season now.

Some kind of monster was pretty good.
Meet the Fockers was great.

Alien Vs Predator (Actually, I dont know if I would consider it "good" I just loved the Predator movies so much, so my opinion is probably a little biased, on a side note the game was pretty good too :p. )
Some Kind of Monster was suprisingly better than I expected, I esspecially liked the part where Lars and Dave Mustaine talk.
I've been watching the 10th anniversary edition of Clerks a lot lately, I just cant get enough of that movie, and the DVD has a crap load of extra stuff on it, definately worth the money.
The only movie I've seen recently is "Elektra" and that blew more **** than the average hooker. But "Meet the Fockers" was indeed hilarious.

saw eternal sunshine of the spotless mind last night, that was pretty good, a little slow though.
And to whoever said the village sucked, I thought it was terrible. I was watching it with my dad and called the "big plot twist" right from the beginning. M night shamalayan is the most overrated director I've ever seen, and he advertises his name on his movies like he's jesus.

Was anyone else waiting for a huge fist to punch you in the nuts and a freaky voice shouting "Continued in Alien vs Predator 2!!" At the end of Alien vs Predator?

I dont know, at the end you're supposed to be like "uh oh, one got on board" but its a frickin ship full of highly trained predators against one alien, so I dont even see the point of that scene being there.
