I would have liked to seen final fantasy 7/8/9 turned into a movie. I know they made an FF movie, but I meen using the storyline of the game, myabe slight alterations.

That would be a joy, though we have got FFVII: Advent Children to look forward to.

Mario Sunshine.
Really?
I didn't think it had much of a plotline, a film about a plumber washing graffiti off of things  I'd pay to see that pulled off well.

Yeah Zelda would be great.
Knights of the Old Republic would be cool.
Doom 3 maybe?
They should **** well make a film based on Games Workshop stuff, maybe not any of the games though.
Kingdom Hearts, surprisingly.
All Final Fantasy games.

If they make a Ninja Gaiden movie, they should have people prove that they beat it on Very Hard before allowing them into theater. It's an elite game, it should be an elite movie.

I wouldn't be admitted, I beat it on Normal (which I might add, is REALLY hard, so imagine wha very hard is like)

People beat Ninja Gaiden on Very Hard because it's a great game.

Pansy.
Just play it on Hard, then Very Hard. By the time you get to Very Hard, you're the master of Ryu. Until you download the HP packs..

No more goddamn video game movies. As could as some of these games are (Ocarina of Time comes to mind), there should not be any more of this crap. We need original ideas, people. Same goes for the endless remakes populating the movie theaters.

Yes, that boss is one of the easier bosses to defeat. You fight another one later in the game, by then it's a welcome break.
PS There is no easy, only normal.

You guys realize that pretty much every movie based off a video game sucked ***, right?
Super Mario Bros. - Sucked. What the **** were those? Goombas? They didn't look like that in my Mario game.
Street Fighter - Horrid.
House Of The Dead - Yeah, I enjoy snippets of the actual game put into my movie to help move the story along. And those bullet-time zombie shots? This one sucked hard.
Resident Evil - Maybe the only half-decent one. At least it was a gory zombie movie. But still, really corny dialogue hampered it, and that CGI licker looked ultra-fake.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse - Wow. I mean, how could they go wrong with a PG-13 Zombie movie??? This is the only movie I ever saw that I was actually pissed off I paid to see. I felt cheated. I went in expecting a zombie movie. Zombies were only in the movie for the first 10 ****ing minutes! And not one bite! Not one!
Then the rest of the movie consists of them running from a monster with a rocket launcher. A monster... with a rocket launcher...Last time I checked, Monsters don't need rocket launchers... BECAUSE THEY"RE ****ING MONSTERS! And to top it off, it was PG-13. No gore.
Now I don't care if a horror movie is PG-13, as long as it's scary. RE:A wasn't. And it wasn't gory. It was ****.
... Oh my hatred of Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
Tomb Raider - Honestly, never saw it. But from what I've heard I haven't missed much.
And Alone In The Dark seemed like it ended up being a stinker, as well. So people, next time you hear that your favorite video game is getting adapted to film, don't hold your breath. It'll be painful.

Good sum up, basicly every video game based movie has been horrible. Mabey they can get john carpenter to direct duke nukem and cast roddy piper or dolph lundgren, now that would be decent.

I take it you've never played Resident Evil Nemesis?.......
I agree with the 1st though, it was horrible.
Id like to see a Silent Hill, MGS, DMC, and/or Diablo/Starcraft movie.
I think the RE's could have been great movies if they actually would have based them directly on the games.

I never played Nemesis, but I know the synopsis of the game. And I know the Nemesis monster, in the game, has a rocket launcher. I guess it worked well for the game, but in the movie it was just dumb.
Monsters shouldn't have high-tech artillery. Like rocket launchers. And in the movie, if I remember correctly, he also had a sub-machine gun. What the ****.

Alien vs. Predator was lame, no gore at all.

I would like to see, "Painkiller" made into a movie. "Far Cry" would be another cool one. Let's see, for the longest time I've been a promoter of the Star Wars: Dark Forces" series. So, I think "Jedi Knight" would be a great film; all new cast, all new characters===Kyle Katarn is a great blend of Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. Finally, I've been impressed with both, "Halflife" and "Return to Castle Wolfenstein". I'd say, make one of those before you attempt, "Doom". I have heard that "Doom" is actually in progress. I don't know who is directing, but I have heard that they are finalizing the story and looking for a cast.(btw, it isn't based on the video game so much, but rather the "Doom" world and landscape. Think, "Red Planet" meets "Event Horizon". :naughty:

It is, but odn't expect much. It's Pg-13, stars The Rock, and they've cut out any semblance of Hell in the storyline. :upset:

I would think that "Deus Ex" would be a great sci-fi/conspiracy theory movie.
James Woods would have to play the evil scientist/corporation doctor dude, uh........what's his name? in the game? Darn, I forgot the doctor's name. It's been so long since I played it.
If you play the game or have it saved on your hard drive, as I do, listen to the evil guy.........it sounds just like James Woods!

I'm surprised no one said this one yet, but they should definitely make a movie of Grand Theft Auto 3. That storyline was sooo great and fit in perfectly with everyone. Just keep the storyline in the movie. All of it. I don't know who would play the main character (fido/claude) though, but 8-Ball can be Damon Waynes (the guy from Major Payne right?) Well whoever was in Major Payne should play 8-Ball. They have practically a split image. That could be such a great movie, unless some gey hotshot directors f's it up. Then I'd be pissed. And I dunno if Fido could be mute in the movie, since he never talks in the game. But he's such a badass.
