Just to get a general consensus.

Sorry if I excluded your favorite indie German trilogy, I just picked trilogies that are generally known by the public.

EDIT: Fixed

Was this in that poll you made, or the one you forgot to?

****, it didn't go through. I made the poll and when I hit submit it wouldn't connect to the site. I'll fix it.

Indiana Jones is the perfect trilogy. Followed by Star Wars, then LOTR, then Back to the Future.

How about the three original films made in the 70s(?) before they decided to make the prequels. I assume that's what he meant.

yeah, but that is hardly a trilogy if the other films are part of the same story

LOTR is brilliant.

American Pie was good, but not the best.

I know, let's take LOTR off the poll since the Hobbit exists... or you could stfu.

Sorry, but there is no way you can associate the first three Star Wars films with the new prequels. The first three are three of the greatest movies ever made. Phantom Menace sucked, Attack Of The Clones was good, but no where near the awesomeness of the original trilogy.

When the sixth film is released, those three films can be a part of their own seperate trilogy, but should not be lumped in with the classic three.

I'm surprised no one else but me has picked the Mad Max trilogy.

The Road Warrior is one of the greatest action movies in history.

True but the first one lacked action and the third one just sucked.

Road Warrior is in my top 5 favorite movies.

I was initially going to put LOTR, but since that's so new, and since Indiana Jones has better rewatching value than any other trilogy on this list, IMO, I went with Indy.
