Can anyone enlighten me as to what the **** this movie was all about? Is there some deep meaning or is it just an account of a really bad acid trip or something?

That was an amazing article, they must really appreciate the film. Most people I speak to can't stand Eraserhead, took me a couple of watches but now I'm a Lynch fan.
An interview with Lynch that I read ages ago said the film was based on a dream he had, weird guy.

Check out Blue Velvet for more sexual creepiness and the amazing Mullholland Drive for, hahaha just check it out.

I enjoyed that Theologian look at the film, and i have looked at it a different way everytime i have watched it.

What other Lynch films should I watch, and is twin peaks as good as I hear?

Having sex is hardly an evil deed (the referal in the text)

Twin Peaks is good, the series and the film though don't expect to find out what it's all about and it's better to watch.

Like I've said the two above are good and Dune isn't bad either, the artworks done by bloody Salvidor Dali for Uematsu's sake.
