I missed it last week, can someone catch me up so I can know what the hell is going on going into tomorrow? Thanks.
Discuss 24 amongst yourselves after someone tells me what happened :)

They found out where the secratary of defence was but the special forces won't get there in time to stop the broadcast. It seems as in the next episode jack will be going in alone and trying to get out before the pre-emptive missile strike the president has ordered(he slipped his way through the cops). Chloe was found out and was blackmailed to sign residnation papers. The secratary and his daughter tried to kill themselves with a gas pipe. The witness jack was following saw through jacks behavior or something and rammed his car into a semi. Thats all remember
Thanks, rep'd ^
Is that what happened, or are some things left out? I was hoping for a more detailed explanation :-/
Did that fat guy with the lisp follow through with helping Chloe or did he turn her in?

he helped her after she said that if they got caught, she would take all the blame.
and i think the other guy pretty much covered everything important that happened.

he helped and cloe didn't rat him out when she was found out. He is being blackmailed by that black women because she found out that he was working with cloe so he's basically doing everything she asks him to do

That's what I wanted to know... I wasn't clear. Thanks :)

And she probably won't be either.
Anyway, 24 is the greatest show on TV right now IMO. Jack Bauer is one of the best tv action characters. :thumb: He doesn't take crap from nobody. I just hope he doesn't cry again like the last season.

I like the fact that Fox is going to show new episods every week.
It starts on Sunday here in the UK. I've seen the first 20 minutes of S4E1, and it didn't look that promising to me. Too many new faces, I can't see it being anywhere near as good as 3
I watched he second and third seasons. It was a good show. Makes it a lot better with Elisha Cuthbert. If she's on this season then i will start watching again. I watched the premiere night when the showed 2 hours of it. I wasn't in the mood to watch it the next night again. Oh, and I also remembered I can't watch it anyways... I have baseball practises every monday night from 8 - 10:(
It was so good tonight :)

I hated cuthberts character, she only provided eye candy and that was it. She sucked. How many times was she captured in the first season? 4 times?
She wasn't as bad as Sherry Palmer, I ****ing hated her. And now there's that new girl working at CTU that is acting the SAME EXACT WAY. So dumb.
Anyway, the reason that there showing a new episode without any breaks is because they started in January. The last 3 seasons started in October and they'd go like weeks without showing a new episode.

As long as Jack screams a lot, it's a winning season.
Seriously, even some action movies that come up don't compare to this show. The last episode that aired, there was a whole 15 minute badass scene, right in the first 15 minutes!
I love this show. :thumb:

What were the first three seasons like? I just started watching it this season and am hooked, but I don't know anything about the previous seasons.
I dont know about the first season but the third season was great! I loved the gun trick when Jack was about to shoot himself and there was only one bullet and he took the gun and shot the guy! Great season!
I also thought the drug guy's girlfriends were very hot to. The pool scenes were great!
God dammit, I missed again.
I had to tutor, but I ran over till 9:30, and it's a half-hour walk across campus, so I missed AGAIN.
Can someone fill me in please?

SPOILERSSSSSSSSSS
Jack and the girl go to an intelligence building to confirm who she saw at the compound. Edgar finds a way to shutdown a lot of the nuclear power plants. Beruz's mom and dad go after him to kill him, but his mom and him get away in a car. The intelligence building gets attacked when jack and the girl are there, jack and her run out of ammo and a familiar face appears to save them.
Tony Almeida

END SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs
Probably one of the best 24 episodes ever I think.

Oh, don't forget that Beruz's mom got shot in the arm.
That episode ruled.

Thanks for rubbing it in :upset:
However, thanks for letting me know what happened. I really wish they could replay the episode sometime during the week.
I saw the first 2 last night here in the UK. I'm actually quite interested to see what happens, but at the same time not so bothered. I dunno, it doesn't have the same feel to it as the last few seasons

When Sec. Of Defense is on trial he is found innocent due to lack of evidence and is set free, everyone is happy, and they throw a sexy party.
...not really, but that would be hilarious

I thought I'd look in the Video Games and Movies forum to see about 24.
Well I got into it half way through season 2 thanks to a friend and since then I have been really into it.
Anyways, Season 4 is awesome, it's really rekindled my interest after Season 3 which in my opinion was not as good as 1 and 2.
I'm up to episode 8 of season 4 now (I live in Britain but have been able to get my hands on it due to illegitimate sources :naughty: ). I'm glad to see Tony Almeida back in it though, I was very worried when Jack was preparing to pistol whip those two guys in that garage, then delighted to see Tony again.
I'm glad they finally catch Marianne though, the black woman in CTU who's the mole. Felt sorry for Sarah though, they put her through hell, wrongly.
Man, I'm not going to bother watch the shows. I will just read this thread to see what happened:lol:

Greatest show on television, hands down. Also, to those that miss any episodes, just bookmark this link:
http://www.fox.com/24/episodes/guide.html
It's the official 24 page on Fox, and they usually update it soon after an episode with the summary.

There is a lot of suspense. It's like a cross between season 1 and 2 IMO. You just know Jack and crew(Tony :p ) are going to find the override in time, long before the season is supposed to end, that's the resemblance to season 1(In the first 12 hours a lot happens, by the end of those 12 hours Jack has rescued his wife and daughter and the next 12 are spent tracking the (new set of) bad guys who have now focused there attention on assassinating Palmer). The resemblance to S2 is the magnitude of the threat, the fact it's middle eastern terrorists again and that the mastermind of the whole plot is probably an American businessman who owns a power company maybe. By proving what a liability Nuclear power can be in these circumstances the American governemnt will turn to his company to provide power instead of the nuclear power plants. Just a thought :D
Man I should get out more :upset:

What did everyone else think of ep10?
I thought that despite the lack of action it was still quite juicy and needless to say the plot has definitely thickened in regard to that Paul dude, Audrey's husband, the English dude being implicated in the terrorist attack. I can't wait to watch ep 11 :thumb:
