Steelers won't win like last time
Last time, the Patriots ran the ball for 5 times for 6 yards. They didn't have Dillon, hence Brady threw more. Now they have Dillon, it's gonna be a good game.
Benny is struggling right now in the playoffs

Eagles fans are officially worse than Red Sox fans. Their little song, with them all singing, I couldn't help but call them faggots. It's pathetic.
Considering nothing good comes of the NFC, anything from the AFC will destroy. I'm predicting the Patriots to win. Since it's in Pittsburgh, they might feel heat from the fans, but Tom Brady is nothing short of a God.

The following reasons are why I'm rooting for them in the Super Bowl
1) Tom Brady is probably the best QB in the pocket. (keeps his cool)

3) I absolutely hate the Colts and the Pats are the only team that can beat them.

Not the best, Pats, Steelers, and Colts could own them
I was tempted to put the Colts in there, but they just suck at Foxboro and if the Eagles played the Colts at the RCA Dome, I'm sure they'd get their **** rocked.
The Eagles are a solid team but I don't they have the talent to beat the Pats. The Eagles are gonna be pumped up, really confident because of their first Superbowl, whereas the Pats have been here before. I'm really trusting Brady's experience in the post-season and the D.

True, true. Now you've said that though they'll probably go and win it all next year and I'll just give up all hope and become a sex-slave to Bill Belichek.

The Eagles allowed 26.5 points per game on average against AFC teams, they wont be able to hold New England to a low score. Their offense will have to play amazingly well to win it.

Oh well, at least Roethlisberger didn't peak in his rookie season. He still has plenty of room for improvement, while simultaneously having one of the best first seasons any QB could ask for.

Yeah, Pennsylvania is not out of the fight yet. Remember a couple years ago when some people were expressing hope for an all-Missouri Super Bowl?! Ha ha, that sure fell through.
But when Rofflesburger gains more experience, the all-PA thing won't be such a pipe dream after all.

I agree...Shaun King almost did the same in 1999 with the Bucs. They were barely beaten by the Rams that year, but, lets hope Roethlisberger doesn't regress.
The key in stopping the Steelers was making Roethlisberger beat you with his arm, which, anyone knows, rookies are gonna **** up. That's why the Steelers won 15 straight...run the ball, Big Ben was asked just not to **** up. He is gonna be a great QB, better than the other 1st rounders
Look at the 1999 draft...Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Donovan McNabb, Dante Culpepper and Cade McNown all taken in the 1st round. Only McNabb and Culpepper lived up to the billing, while it took Cincy and Chicago 5 years to get their QB and the Browns still haven't had one since Kosar. Roethlisberger is gonna be great, but I know that he wasn't gonna go far against the Pats.
BTW...I'm from Boston, so GOOOOO PATS!!!! :thumb:

Yeah, he may have been the enemy, but that whole game I just kept thinking, "y'know, this kid's like, 4 years older than I am playing starting quarterback for a professional football team and not doing too horribly."
I see good things in his future. :thumb:

Statistically, Big Ben's 2004 season is very similar to Brady's 2001 season. Just pointing that out.

Roethlisberger reminds me a lot of Tom Brady when he's playing well. He's extremely efficient when he's on. Doesn't throw for tons of yards, but he does what he needs to do.
Very Tom Brady-ish.

I agree...but herein lies the problem with Pitt. They are a running team, the Pats haven't really had a consistent runner since Curtis Martin (until Dillon)...I mean, only 1000 yard rushers we had since Martin left (excluding this year) is Robert Edwards in 1998 (blew out his knee in that rookie beach game) and Antwoain Smith in 2001. We won last year with no running game whatsoever because we utilized the short pass.
My point is is that if you have a great running game, like the Steelers do, you don't have to throw. I think we will get to see the true Roethlisberger in about 2 years, when Bettis and Staley is gone. No doubt he is a good quarterback, but will he be great? I don't know yet, I want to see him play with his back against the wall.
Also, Steelers need a TE BAD and Burress is basically gone. Though, Kendall Simmons is coming back next season and should make the O-Line better. Steelers need to give Roethlisberger more weapons at RB and WR/TE to show what he's got

If Burress stays, they'll have loads of talent in the receiving positions.
Even if he leaves, they'll have two better than average receivers in Hines Ward and Antwaan Randle El. They may not compile the stats as some of the primetime receivers, but they're both extremely versatile players, and they're both great playmakers. The Steelers had one of the top five groups of receivers in the NFL this year. I'd go as far as saying top three.
If they lose Plaxico, sure they'll not have as much of a deep threat, but Antwaan and Hines are enough to keep a defense busy.
