After listening to both versions of Little Bitch, I have come to the conclusion that the original version is better if you like more slow paced songs and the Big D cover was good if you like your ska faster, otherwise the song is exactly the same.

That should take care of the feet. The arms are much simpler. When you lift your righ foot, push your right shoulder forward adn punch your right arm out. When you lift your left leg push out your left shoulder and punch out your left arm.

No but they did lots of other hilarious stuff. At the very end of Kiss Me Deadly, Aaron was singing by himself, and he goes "I went to a party last Saturday night, I didn't get laid, but that's all right" Then the guitarist goes "And that's why god inventing pudding".

Obviously you haven't heard many 3rd Wave Ska bands.
It's all subjective, let's not debate this. I have heard a lot of 3rd wave ska bands, and I think Streetlight Manifesto are one of the best bands I have ever heard. But I don't really consider them to be 3rd wave ska, at least not most of their songs.

i figured it needed a few gimmies for the 3rd wavers....but i intentionally put all those aitken and drummond references because stupid 3rd wavers dont know s'hit about trad
And the Reel Big Fish year question was actually suggested by someone else and I went "uh...I don't know that...."

No, wasn't directed at you, your avatar just reminded me. I really dig bands like the Specials and that, I just think that most people who are preaching unity now are just jumping on the bandwagon and don't really believe, so I'd like some apolitical ska, for want of a better word.

Ahhh yeah, I get you. I never really thought about it in that sense and I'm pretty much bored to death with band's politics. I can't think of many ska bands that are remotely political, overall. The only ones that spring to mind are CapDown, maybe Big D and stuff like Leftover Crack. I don't mean to sound patronising, but I guess the easiest thing to do is ignore any political message and just listen to the music, it's what ska was (and still is, I spose) all about.

ONB is planning a US tour. They sent me a message on myspace asking about the local scene. It's all 3rd wave here. I told them that if they get a 3rd wave band opening they'll get a lot more people to show up than if it's all trad, unless they promote it as reggae. If they promote it as reggae, they'll get a lot more adults (by which I mean, over the age that you normally see at shows).

They weren't amazing, but for a bunch of highschool seniors they rocked the house. And I'm a sucker for local bands.
Everybody's been talking about this band called the know how I hear there really good. Anyone been to any of there shows ?.
They toured with Streetlight in 2004. They're pretty good. They're on tour again now with Whole Wheat Bread. I saw them play to a crowd of about 10 kids (not counting those in supporting acts) last week. Bad turnout, but it was in the "if you park more than 10 feet away you'll get shot" area of town.
Whole Wheat Bread's bassist fell over the floor tom. The singer/guitarist kept going til he saw everyone pointing behind him. Once he got up he was like, "Damn! I saw all dese cords an' **** here on the groun' and I was like 'Im gon' break my black ***!' an' den I fell over da drum an' all. An' that's why you don' smoke weed befo you go onstage!"

hey dont diss two tone
I wasn't dissing two tone, I was dissing crappy local bands that call themselves ska-core by being a hardore/emo/two-tone fusion band. It just gives ska an awful name to those who know nothing about besides the middle-class 12 year olds in my town (which is actually Worthing, but I'm closer to Brighton) running around in the "height of fashion" talking how much they love ska when the only bands they listen to fit easily into the category that I just mentioned.
Sorry about the rant, but I guess it's what happens after I try and explain things to people.
