Give ".suomi+uae.b" a listen at http://www.hxcmp3.com/bands/12551/ and post your thoughts, please.

This is basically the product of two very bored individuals.

Enjoy!

Matthew, man. I love this stuff. I'd buy a box set. (and I'm only part way through that song)

It's like Rush + Portishead + Michael Andrews' work on the Donnie Darko score + "double-yoo tee eff"

Haha... thanks.

It's funny because it's entirely improvised. After recording the individual parts, I went back through and put order to everything with use of Cool Edit Pro. Took maybe, like half an hour to 45 minutes at most.

By the way, I'm HUGE HUGE HUGE Rush fan. I think it's cool you some how picked up on that through that recording. I haven't listen to much by the other artists you much, but I do enjoy what I've heard.

This is great stuff. Inexplicably powerful and hypnotic. Keep it up.

This is pretty interesting. I don't find myself getting bored with this as much as other ambient noise stuff. I really like looking for the normal instruments through the noise and how it all resolves to a "normal" song after a certain point. If you haven't, go to www.epitonic.com and check out their ambient section. Yellow6 is a good band they have there.

Shure SM57 through a Boss BR-8 digital recording unit (used for EQ and effects) with a line out running directly into my computer, from which point it was recorded/chopped/screwed/and mixed in Cool Edit Pro.

Thanks. I'll be sure to check out that link. :)

By the way, if you still want to track tag it...
