hey whats up? its me again ..with another cover..sorry for all the covers but we are waiting until i get my pod off of backorder to start writing. this is breathing by yellowcard. the violin is keyboard so yea idk if it sounds bad or w/e. the vocals..arent the best but yea like usual focus on the music..i just thought itd be boring without vox so we put em in there.

It's sounds alright.. yeah the keyboard is kinda weird, and you could sing it really well if you didn't sing so chopy. i dunno if you know what i mean but, it sounds alright.

i think that it actually sounds good(thumbs up) u guyz are better then a lot of people out thur. the keyboards off but... i think ur singin wuz pretty good. becoming a good singer takes a lot longer then a month so ur not bad... u'd probably make a good punk singer....

oh thanks jason20xx. yea i know it takes a lot of time and im hoping that my voice will get a little deeper so i dont sound so girly and whiney. i just want to be decent enough so when people hear me they dont squint lol. but by punk singer do you mean pop punk or like real punk? cause i dont think id be very good at real punk with the rasp and stuff.

Okay...the voice is a little..scary... :amaze:

But the rest of the music isn't THAT bad, dump the one that plays that awful keyboard but the rest seems okay to me.

But there's one thing I noticed...the timing, sometimes the music went to fast, or the singer went to slow. It's just a little thing, but I noticed it :P I know the original song very well (I think Yellowcard is allright :D)

lol yea it is scary...and yes the keyboardest is taking up bass instead...which might make the timing worse lol. i think the singing was slow because i was listening through one ear phone to hear myself and sometimes i was singing loud and couldnt hear so i went to slow. we need a singer bad lol. were hoping to start writing soon when my podxt comes in...which its on backorder..until like the 20th so youll see us again on here...idk whether thats a bad or good thing for you all though lol

this one is semi popular. its a single of them but yea youre right we shouldve done only one or ocean avenue its just this had the most stuff of violin and our keyboardest wanted something to do. were supposed to do something this weekend idk what though maybe a little original never know. we just got another guitarist yesterday so were just trying to get settled. i just hope if i practice enough i can fill in on vox.

Whoa....the music.....it blew me away....that's a bit of an exageration (can't spell, sorry) But it was really good. Your american right? Or is the whole accent thing fake? (I'm Australian, that's why I noticed)

I just think your singing went up and down, like you'd say a word or two clearly then mumble a few then so on and so on. But I think if you practice a bit you'll be great....I love the sound of your voice too - unique - be better though if like i said your singing didn't go up and down, then you'd be great!

I was speaking the truth...it was good :) I love that song [breathing] too. And I think yellowcard are great (even w/ the whole violin thing!) I'm into bands like Simple Plan, Blink, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Sum 41 etc....if you think they suck thats alright.

If I see that you've posted stuff bout new songs I'll be sure to listen to them.....I saved the breathing cover on my cp and am listening to it now :)....you didn't answer my question....your american right?

Okay, A Decade Under The Influence:
Don't think I suck cuz what i'm about to say...but I've never heard a Tbs song, yes I know of them but I haven't heard them before, so i haven't heard this song.

The only thing wrong with it (my opinion, pls don't get mad :) ) is ya can't really hear the singers and at times it's muffled...but the music is all good (go the drummer! Lol).....was it recorded differently because it's not as clear as the Breathing one?

I'd give breathing about 9/ 10 cuz that was good as and i'd give this one about 7 (only cuz you can't hear the vocals) Keep up the good work! The band rocks....

Alex, on your profile says your looking for a singer....if I like knew in person, lived near you, blah blah blah blah, I would so offer to....(lol) that is if you wouldn't mind a chick singing for ya.
To be honest, you don't need a singer though, daronmalakianfan (sorry, don't know your name lol) is a good singer and after practice will be great!

Thanks a lot, and yea the reason why the TBS cover sounded less as professional is because it was live and yea lol enough said. But anyway yea the only things thats sucks about him singing is that hes an awesome guitarist and he'll focus more on the vocals, and yea he's definetely lead guitarist material, but whate ever it takes. by a studio if you mean like professions money costing studio...then no lol. we have our own equipment and we record with it. we said studio cause we recorded seperate and eq it and mixed it and all that good stuff. were to poor to take it to a real studio but i thought ours was good enough for now

also, I'd like to know YOUR interests in music. I personally enjoy Dream Theater, Rush, Queensryche, King Crimson, Spocks' Beard, Chimp Spanner, and Frank Zappa. I'm taking a guess at your interests being something considered to be "hardcore" (If you can say that) like Korn, Mudvayne, or Manson...or perhaps something heavier, perhaps Cradle Of Filth, Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir, etc.The fans of those genre's tend to act like idiots and are usually ignorant to other styles of music as you are.

im not sure but i think this has been asked before. well anywayz we used nady drum mics into a fostex digital 8 track. then we took the flash card to my lap top where we mixed using acid pro. the guitars are done wtih a vamp and the bass was straight in. i think the quality isnt to bad considering what we used. our future recording will be much better since im getting either a tonelab or a pod and we have an awesome bass amp to mic now. thanks for listening
