headphones

I'm still figuring out how to use all my recording equipment I got, so I have aquestion I need help answering...

I have headphones hooked into my mixer which runs into the pc. When I'm recording, the tracks I've already recorded come out of my computer speakers. Right now, only the mic or instrument I"m recording comes out of my mixer headphones. Is there anyway to also hear the tracks I have already recorded in my headphones while I record something else?

by the way... I'm using Audacity if that helps

What input are you using to record? (IE Microphone, Line-In, etc.)

In your Audio Settings, unmute Line-In. Then plug your headphones into your speakers instead of into your mixer. You'll hear the playback and the sounds from the mixer.
