Are there any guitar programs out there that are for the PC where I can compose guitar riffs by selecting the notes? I cannot play the guitar if my life depended on it. I have tried a few programs out, but unfortunately they give me low quality MIDI notes which inturn don't give me the feeling for the music stuck in my poor head.

Now, onto Vocal cuts, I own Cool Edit Pro and I use the vocal cuts on there, works like a charm when I want to see what I would sound like with a little reverb and so on. The only drawback is that it eliminates some of the bass drums and bass guitar cords. Are there any other programs out there that provide me with Vocal cut techniques without sacrificing the bass and drum lines?

Once again thanks guys for this kick @$$ site.

1. No. Usually, you can get someone on here to reocrd you a couple of backing tracks in return for a rep and a thankyou.

2. Vocal cutting is NOT easy. Its like painting a picture and then trying to take all the red paint off. It can be done, but you usually end up taking off osme of the other paint as well. I'm yet to hear a really effective vocal cutter.

yes, finale 2003 or somethin. we have at my school on the music computers. theres a thing where u can put in the notes for guitar and it will play it. there's also a thing on it where u can use tab instead of a staff.
