Taking Back Sunday Live Cover

Hey this is a live cover of A Decade Under The Influence by Taking Back Sunday that my band did not too long ago. While listening to this focus more on the instrumentation other than the vocals. Anyway leave feedback!!!

the intro seemed too fast when compared to the original as did several other parts of the song, little else wrong with it instrumentally considering it was live, you said focus less on the vocals however this was very difficult as... no offence... but they were.... erm... ****

the music was okay, it felt a bit rushed and off and places. my main complaint is about the vocals, but you said to ignore them... so i will. for your sake.

TBS ****in sucks live. But you should try to hit that 1 high note when he says "have" in the 3rd line of the chorus... I didn't hear it on your recording.

it probably wasnt on there..i didnt really study all the pitch changes enough to get everything perfect it was just like one of those things where you wing it and just do what you remember. i know i could hit it though cause its not that high.

TBS doesn't do a bad job live... I saw them when they went on tour with Blink 182 and The Used and Blink 182 and The Used put on incredible show as also with TBS, they all sounded great. Maybe you saw them in a bad time, such as for Warped Tour, most bands are not very impressive there, but oh well. Thanks for the comments! Rock On man \m/...

don't put yourself down or......or.....I dunno - just you shouldn't. Tell yourself that you did a good job and you'll keep singing good. If you try and convince yourself you suck then you might start to!

I personally...liked it better than TBS .... but im really partial, the vox were off in places...but I dont like Taking Back Sunday(well...not that cd anyway) so the farther away from the song you get...the better, sounded good compared to most of the live recordings I've heard, if that tells you anything :/ defenately rushed...and believe you me.....you'll know too once you do...once you get optimum screaming volume..you'll almost have to move the mic farther away
