Something 'fresh' for your listening 'pleasure', a first draft recorded tonight with acoustic guitar, leads, orchestra + girlfriend :thumb:

I hate it. But if I was into that kind of music, I would think it's great. So just 'cause I hate it doesn't mean anything bad.
Reverb the vocals a little bit and it will sound pro. And in the beginning, balance them a little more with the guitar because they're too loud.

Cheers for the reply mate, more so for listening and commenting when you're not into the genre of music! This was a bunch of ideas written down and recorded in one night so there will most definetly be refinements to be made and what you said will help us a great deal in our next steps towards a cut of the song we're completly happy with!

It's pretty good, alittle reverb would work out well with the vocals (as said before)

Yeah I was playing about with the effects on the vocals today, seems to fit in a lot better with a medium reverb on the voice. Also I'm going to re-record both the guitar and vocals in order to get rid of the little mistakes along the way.
Not sure whether to record with an acoustic or a clean/reverbed electric though, whats you guys' thoughts on that?
