I'm in a band called Rain, and we've just finished our demo, and I thought it would be a good idea to post a track on here for critique.

First thing I would like to say is...Welcome To MX! + Congrats On First Post!

Song overall is pretty nice.
Vocally it could use some slight work (not major just some brushing up on)
The guitars in the intro seemed to be bouncing off of each other and slightly sloppy playing...I don't know if thats what you were looking for but it doesn't sound bad. Just didn't know if thats what your aiming for is all.

The song is recorded live, so we didn't have the option of lead guitar and vocal overdubs, the song is just basically us rehearsing. Thank you for your detailed reply. I really appreciate that you've given more than your opinion and explained why you like or don't like the song.

Well, that's rocks pretty good!
Nice and tight.
Ok overall sound.. ..If I was to suggest something, it would be a little more treble on the vocals.
I like the guitar sound and playin'.
Cool drum outro! Make sure the drummer doesn't leave the band! :)

All in all: keep rocking and practising! You've got what it takes. :thumb:

This is really good musically. I agree the outro is very cool and I like the vocals. Are you guys fans of early Oasis cause I really got a flashback feel of listening to Definitely Maybe. It's not a bad thing in the least. I'm just curious. Keep writing more music and posting it.

That would be cool. Very awesome song. I think my fave on Def. Maybe is Live Forever. Or is Columbia? I think it's both. :)
