My old band is getting back together, so I thought I'd post some tracks off of our old demo for some feedback. I call us "Vintage guitar pop"... sort of a British Invasion a la early The Who or The Kinks meets the modern post-Radiohead rock: 1964 VS. 2004. We're called The Fugitive Pose...

So anyways, let me know...

Oh wow, more people need to see this thread. You guys rock. It's nice to hear something different from all the repetitive emo/hardcore/punk slop. Production sounds nice, instruments are played well and solid. The tone of the guitar is awesome, as well as the singer's voice.

-Good Ground is so Beatles, I love it. Except the singing in it really reminds me of Freddy Mercury (with less power).

-Dandy is mediocre. It's a good song, not something I'd be running to friends recommending.

-Nature Nationale is a very catchy more upbeat song. Probably my second favourite out of your list of downloads.

-Under The Rug (live) is by far my favourite song you guys have. It has a very interesting sound, a bit bluesy with a little hint of funk from the guitar. It's just....wow awesome.

Good to hear you guys are getting back together. Good luck to you in the future.

Hey, thanks a lot! I totally forgot about this thread...

But thanks for your input. :D I agree that this is pretty different from other stuff going around... I also agree about Dandy... It would not be one of my choices as making the cut on a record or something, but the rest of the band really likes it. I can't wait to go into the studio with that last track... I guess our newr tracks are sounding more like that, in the mini-opera direction.

Well, anyways, thanks a lot for your positive reviews! :)
