Anyone else love RTS games? That's just about all I play on PC, in addition to FPS games. The problem is, I've played a ****-ton of RTS games, and am looking for some new ones. Here's all I've played to death: All the Warcrafts, Starcraft, both Age of Empires, Red Alert I and II, Command & Conquer: Generals. Can anyone give me some reccomendations on other RTS games?

RoN and the Total war series are both really fun.
RoN is more for you Civilization types though
Oh and if you really like to be challenged with micro managment, check out the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, theres like 7 of them I think, but they'r console.

Anyone tried/heard about Battle For Middle Earth? Looked pretty cool. I'm definitely checking out Rise of Nations after I buy Call of Duty.

Great game. Hopefully you've got a good enough amount of RAM and a decent video card to run it.
It's pretty fun online, as well.

cossacks is pretty much an exact copy of age of empires, except with up to 8000 units each battle. It takes place around the 16-1700's eras. Its a few years old actually.

I like Cossacks because it's almost real life with bullets and stuff
Like a single cannon shot will wipe out a side, and if the whole frontline fires, a lot of men will go down

the battleships are really cool in it, especially when you ram...did you ever play sudden strike? Its a wwII game made by the same company.

its a pretty good game, definitly one of the more challenging wwII games. You cant build units so you have to conserve what you have. Also, you have to keep your soldiers supplied and your tanks run out of game. In each mission you can have over 1,000 units.

Sudden Strike 2 looks pretty sweet, so does Cossacks. I'm gonna have to play a couple of demos.

Red Alert 2
I am addicted to that game. If anyone wants to play, I'm MrBrasky on RA2.
I'd suggest this game to any beginners in RTS games.

On Warcraft III Beta 1.16 or whatever, I was ranked #814 for FFA. I haven't played in a while, so I don't remember exactly what patch it was, it was some beta in June though, in WC I am Park-Esaul (WOEC Shaman bitches).
But the orignal RTS Warrior Of Rome tops the cake (#2 not #1, which is God Aweful), I suggest you all get the ROM for Warrior Of Rome II for Sega Genesis, it was 2 player, and you got to train your units for specific tasks, it is amazing.

Yeah, try Rome: Total War.
Well thats not actually RTS, cos it's mostly turnbased. But get it anyway, its great fun
KappaKid17

Turn based eh? I think I'll still check it out. Cossacks appears to be pretty solid, as does Sudden Strike 2.

cossacks and sudden strike have been out for a while so you can get them with the expansions together for $20 dollars which is awesome.

Starcraft is the best RTS game ever. I played that game a lot when I first got it. 10 hours straight once, I could hardly see after.
